Undead myths?

What would be the myth that you most felt was completely debunk,
proved false and put to pasture... but then you've heard again as "the
truth"?
For example:
One of the first things that The Mythbuster disproved is the Rocket
Powered Impala myth. It is totally dead. And then they turn up in
"The Darwin Awards" selling the rockets.
I know - it's just a movie - but I think that will revalidate the myth
(plus it added elements I don't recall hearing before).
