Hi, I tried this question in the alt.fan.letterman newsgroup, but someone
referred me here.

I am currently living in Saugeen-Maitland Hall at The University of
Western Ontario. There is a "legend" that we were once mentioned on Dave's
esteemed list. The topic could have been "The Top Ten Places to get laid
in North America" or "The Top Ten Places to party in North America", or
perhaps both.
I have read the FAQ, and the only mention of an UL similar to this
is that every school thinks they were on a Playboy Top Ten list. I have
tried obtaining access to the lists to try to verify this for myself, but
the top ten lists online only go back as far as 1987. Late Night first
aired in 1982. My question is this: Is it an urban legend? Has anyone
else heard similar legends?
I would like to have conclusive proof soon, as I am putting together
our 25th anniversary edition of our yearbook, and we are trying to research
such stories to see if they have any truth. Some residents swear up and
down that they know a "friend of a friend" who actually saw the show, while
others aren't so sure.

Thanks,

Ian Kerr

ha ha ha ha! I saw that one! That was so great! I'll *never* forget it!

Mention "Canter & Siegel" and you will live forever in the libel archives.
