Not too long ago I heard two stories which I found interesting. I
wonder if they're true or if they're just urban legends. Maybe you
heard the stories as well. Anyway, can I have your comments on them?
Thanks in advance! Here they are:
The first story:
I heard this story from a friend who picked it up from another friend
of his. People who went for a walk in the woods somewhere, discovered
a pitfall (ambush) which was a few metres deep and about a metre
wide.
Under the pit there was a concrete brick with sharp pins about 30
centimetres in size. The pitfall was covered.
A few weeks ago, a similar pitfall was discovered in the same woods.
A
walker stept into the pitfall, which was less deep than the recently
discoverd one, and hurt his foot, because he stept on a sharp pin.
The
police thinks this is a conscious action, because the perpetrator
covered the hole, to make it least noticeable. Also, they think the
boobytraps are explicitly meant to hurt people. The police has no
idea
who the perpetrator is.
The second story:
I heard this story from a fellow student who believed the story was
true, because he said he read it in the newspaper some years ago.
It's
about a dentist who treated caries with some kind of poisonous
substance (forgot what is was exactly). So what he did was, he filled
the hole in the tooth with something toxic, which made his patients
die after some weeks or months. His victims were, without an
exception, all young and good looking women. He kept on doing this
for
a year or so without getting caught, because it took a long time
before the police figured out that the poisonings were caused by a
chemical administered by the dentist. However, on one day, the police
found out that all of the victims (9 in total) shared the same
dentist. That was the day the police questioned the respected
dentist.
The man confessed immediately and was put behind bars for a long
time.
He said he wanted to take revenge on the female sex, after numerous
failed relationships with women.
