I was just wondering if spirits (ghosts) could touch humans ( the
living)?

I have been half alsleep and one day I just felt a light touch of my
legs. It felt like someone touched me and I was in my room alone. This has
happened to me several times over the years and it scares me. I was wake
up and keep my light on in the room. I thought ghosts only appear when it
is dark.

I've never had a mouse TOUCH me at night, but they can make very scary
NOISES in the walls, when you have a good imagination. We solved our
mouse problem by adding two large cats to the family. Haven't heard a
wall "ghost" since. :) -John

ROFLMAO! I'm going to Scotland to see what's under those kilts...

(Actually, I know. My grandfather marched with the Blackwatch in WWI. Makes
kilt-snooping something to look forward to!)

Got a new puppy yet?

The same thing happens to me sometimes. Yes ghost can touch you. If this
has happend over a period of years and nothing bad has happened yet then
it probably wont, so dont be too scared. Ghost can appear during the day,
they just seem to appear more frequently at night because they are easier
to see and it is quieter.

I *think* that ghosts are allowed to do what they want....
I think that it's a matter of ability (the ghosts ability to do
whatever) and the receiver's ability to discern those behaviours

A few times over the passed few years i've been awakened by something hitting
my bed. I asked my sister and she said it has happened to her a few times also.

Why would they want to hit my bed!

It could have been a ghost. I don't think my uncle being pulled out of
bed by the ankles when he was awake was in his mind....hehehehehe

I would like you all (or anyone) who have had physical activity to consider the
idea of poltergiests. Now i'm not talking ghosts, but a strong mental presence
from either some one currantly in the area or had been there in the past.
This, of course, would cause physical reactions. This usually only refers to
the violent reactions (Beds shaking, glass breaking, and generally anything
else flying around.) This will either go away after a while or, if it is a
currant presence find it. What to do with the presence is beyond me.

It depends on your definition of appear.
1) Appear, as in they cause things to happen: A lot of this happens in
daylight - maybe more often not.
2) Appear, as in become visible: Not usually. It has happened tho.
Ghosts may also do things to humans - one couple was even raped by four
demons! (I do not want to live in that house.)

Yes, It is possible for ghosts to touch people--it is reported quite often.
Ghosts may not be quite "solid", but they can often muster up enough
"solidity" to enable prople to feel their touch.
There is no reason to be frightened-- what can a being who can barely
touch you do to you?

Ghosts do not only appear when it is dark--they keep no time schedule, it
is only that the feeble light that most ghosts produce can best be seen in
the darkness. A houseguest of mine saw MY house ghost at 2:00 in the
afrernoon .

Despite Mr. Ray's reassurances to the contrary, I assure you all that
"ghosts" most certainly can inflict harm upon observers. There is quite a
bit of documentation on this, and I'm sure you could find examples on the
'Net with very little difficulty.

(My own organization is currently investigating a case in which a family is
living in a home apparently haunted by three distinct ghosts--one of which
is fairly violent.)

Ooooh, German Shepherds kick ass. I got a Shepherd too, named him 'Max' over
my suggestion of 'Patton'. I guess its all well, cause he's the biggest wimp
on earth. Got a mean bark to him though. Enjoy your doggy.
