Back when time was young and man and beast still held respect for one
another, there was turmoil in the Higher Powers that be. One of these powers
grew jealous and eventually the jealousy turned to madness.
The entity known as the Wyrm, now beset creatures against Gaia.
All that Gaia held dear was to be destroyed and the Wyrm would rule, or so
the Wyrm came to believe.
The creatures of the Wyrm, coming to be known as Wyrm taint, spread across
the vastness of what was Earth.
Demi gods of power and hate, stalked the lands and the beings there on. No
human or animal was safe.
Animals and humankind started to turn against one another. Killing sprees
took place as madness was introduces and lies planted deeply by strange
whispers in their minds took over.
Gaia, seeing the devastation, had no choice but to fight back. She called
her children, the first kind, the wolves.
"To you I bestow humanity. Brothers and sisters alike will hunt down the
forsaken of the wyrm and protect those loyal who have not succumbed. Until
the day you die, you and your offspring will carry the burden of protector."
Hence was the true werewolf was born.
He stood tall on hind legs as he transformed. As protection, Gaia willed
that none of her children would change unless great anger or pain was
unbearable. The birth of Frenzy. To each of her chosen children she
instilled the gift of heightened senses. They would be able to smell the
Wyrm tainted. They would be able to know their enemy.
The Wyrm, enraged, caused plagues upon humanity. New creatures were created,
changed by dark forces. One was the Mummy. Others, such as sprites and
fairies, changelings and, in time, vampires, began to stalk the Earth. The
great war had begun.
Gaia's children knew no rest. Some of the chosen had succumbed to the wiles
of the Wyrm.
Others had formed their own packs, known as septs. Packs that dwelled in
different areas of the world.
Legend has it that the Children of Gaia, those who stayed to the ways of the
first chosen, still roam the world, as do the SkyWalkers, city dwellers.
Until the time when the Wyrm is destroyed, the blessing of the curse would
remain. Many had prayed, it is said, for the legend of the Apocalypse to
come, to end the misery and the fighting once and for all. Others began to
believe it never would and quietly slipped into the shadows.
As time went on, science and new Gods came forth. The legends became nothing
more than that and the chosen forgot, as did their offspring.

Lupinia ran back to the main path of the firebreak. She sat down, waiting
for the Captain and Bear to catch up, her mind afire with the old tales.
Many things she had forgotten were beginning to surface. Dreams she could
never remember upon waking, tickled her brain and she saw images of old,
mixed with the new.

Was she wolf or human, human as her dreams portrayed? Soon she hoped to find
out.

I see you, too, have your werewolf side! How very intriguing. Of
course, that is why your name "Lupinia", I now realize. The wolf
spirit is a powerful force for devotion and protection, IMO. The dog
is man's best friend, and for good reason: the wolf is their parent.
Thus, the dog is protective and loyal...and backward, spells "god".

And in portraying the werewolf as a kindly, brave creature, we return
the dignity to such folklore and myth. I believe these good spirits to
which you refer, are stirring in the human spirit around this world,
to arise once more, in the great glory of victory and Gaia's revenge
(and promise). And I believe such a force will arise via the spirit of
gay folk and women.

Lupinia is the name of a werewolf charecter I play in a later mentioned
game.
~Smile~ The wolf is a mighty totem, as is any other for each individual who
has thier guidence. Though the wolf, I was told came to teach me and the
bear to guide and protect.

The story I wrote is bits and peices of info, taken from a game called
Vamire The Masquerade and Werewolf The Apocalypse by White Wolf.

The coming of the fortold promise of redemption, is as old as mankind. It
holds a significant part of human nature from dying, that part of the soul,
as it were, called hope. Hope in turn, feeds faith.

It matters not the gender nor the sexuality of the individual, nor the
color, race or creed. It only matters that one holds beliefe.
