Hello all ,

Have recently been sent a set of ghost pics which I'd love to share with
the group. No idea whether they are all authentic but some of them sure
do give me the creeps!! However, it comes as a PowerPoint file and I
have no idea how best to upload it so thought if anyone's interested ,
to reply, and I'll send the file to you via email . It's about 325KB in
size .

We'd love to see them. Post them at
alt.folklore.ghost-stories.binaries

This location is a sister newsgroup to this one where people can
download the big files. There hasn't been pictures posted there in
weeks and I just sent a picture there to test it out and make sure it
was still functional. And it is, but I hope you know how to download
pictures to a newsgroup better than I did. Mine came out all cryptic.

Just post them to alt.folklore.ghost-stories.binaries and then notify
us here at alt.folklore.ghost-stories where to find them.

Looking forward to seeing them! Thanks!

Since many people can't receive the binary version of this
news group, just post the pictures to alt.paranormal.binaries as a
compromise.

I can't get alt.paranormal.binaries LOL but I can get the binaries site that
goes with this one, so it is a no win situation.

Looks like my newsgroup doesn't allow access to that ng either , or any
binaries group for that matter .

You could set up your own group through yahoo and enable files. Then let us
all know the place.

Creating a WEB page, w/ YAHOO.COM (or any of the other various sites out
there, for hosting individuals web pages, among other things) should not be
too difficult to do, and should most likely prove to be the best choice,
since every OS out there should now be able to view web pages with some
application! This should also eliminate the dilema of the lack of a
perticular newsgroups availability for alot of people, not to mention it
takes for less bandwidth and storage involved with newsgroups, and the fact
that alot newsgroup servers filter out messages too soon, and depending on
how large the pictures are, in byte size, would increase its chances of being
filtered out.

Anyway, just a suggestion!

This is the best idea yet.

Thanks for the suggestion . I'll tinker with the web pages and will make an
update when I manage to get that done =)

Yeah, I know. That's cuz no one ever posts any paranormal pics there. But,
if someone wanted to, that would be a good place to do it. I got that
binary group even before my ISP decided to expand my horizons a few months
ago and allowed a bunch more.

I missed the beginning of the thread, but I hope it started because someone
had a pic to post.

It did... someone offered to e-mail people some ghost pics... I didn't want
to release my e-mail address, so someone suggested that he post it on one of
the binaries... turns out nobody has access to any of them. :-)

Oh well.
