Hmmm, guess mine would be a Fox and a Bald Eagle...Do toads count? I've got toads
in my garden every year, they are so cute!

Frisbeetarianism is the belief that when you die
your soul goes up on the roof and gets stuck.
I'd stick with the Fox and Eagle. Toads are actually pretty cool.

At least, they weren't on the list you posted.
Might this have something to do with their reputation as
"familiars"? (Poor kitties - hard to shake a bad rep!)

I don't see why they would not be eligible for totem status. Cats are still
wild in some parts of the world. No, I am not speaking of feral cats, but
of their natural habitat.

1) The animal you have a true affinity and closeness to. For example, I
have always been enthralled with the hawk and have ALWAYS had them near.
They are a comforting animal to me and I feel a closeness to them so the
hawk is one of my totems.
2) The animal that chooses you. As with one of my mentors from long ago,
his totem animal was the white wolf which came to him in a dream to teach
him.
3) The animal given you by a mentor/elder. My mentor is the one who named
me Red Bear. He knew parts of me much better than I did myself and gave me
the name to match me. This method can also be the animal given you during a
vision quest.
hope that helps

Snakes are cool... wanted one.. a python ball... but then Sony said no...
there are 2 kind of no with him.. the no that means, if you work on it
you might just win me over, and the no that means you can yell cry
bitch.. even hit me.. nothing will ever change my mind.. it was that kind
of no :o( But then, I'm not one to give up easily.. hehehe
Hippie Will~ Who left the idea on the side until she owns a house.. nia
nia nia..
You should have a conversation with your small furry pets to see
how they feel about it before you get a snake that would like to snack
on them. :oP hehe
