I want to know if anyone has encountered a man in a black trench coat?
He stands about 5'10" or higher. He is very mystious, but he will be
try make you do things. He will try to get you to use the arts to his
advantage. He will go by the name Igtanis, but he will find the
stongest witch in the group and challenge their power. This is a BIG
warning he is strong. He can change forms and teleport. He is very fast

and strong, but he will use cheap magick tricks like your worst fears
of family. He says he is the fallen angel of the night. He uses the
night and the dark shadows to find you. I know this because I have
faced him many times since i was young. I know that he has faced others

too. I just want to know if anyone has any info.
if you know anyhting email me at vft...@hotmail.com

There are many men in black trench coat stories, nothing that quite matches
your explanation springs to mind though. I'll put out a shout on my website.

What do you mean "I've faced him many times since I was young"?

nodding toward Neil [What do you mean "I've faced him many times since

group?

no I'm not the strongest i am what you call an elder in my group the
High Preistist is my teacher. My mom she has faced him as well and yes
that means he has come after us. He is a construct of evil and feeds
off of fear and energy. I have met people that have seen him and have
said the same things in the following states: IL,ID,FL,TX,CA.

i need to know this. Yes there is a god there are many gods and
witchcarft is real, but thats not the point the point is this guy is
evil and i want to know anything if any one else has encoutered him. He
is not harmed by going in holy places because these days not many
churches are cleansed, or purified. I know my uncle is one of the only
preist who do that now in the town i am in. But I say this I just want
to know if any one finds history about him to see if there is a way to
get to leave.

In my day it was USN Pea Coats in the suplus stores. Nice to live in a Navy
town. Now days they're squids but in my day they were swabbies.

Dang, now there I go dating myself again. Hell nobody else will so I might
as well. LOL.

Wool pea coats itched! I could never figure out why you'd what to wear wool
aboard ship. Wouldn't you go down like a lead fart wearing one of those?

Sheesh, you still have a baby on your hands. Don't let him/her read this!!!
We just had another grandbaby last month. I'm heading up to Anchorage this
June to see my kid and grand. He's so tall now. He just got out of diapers
last year and he's already 4 foot tall! Not that he got potty trained late,
we just raise giants in our family.

I talked with him and he told me that while it was fun to see us run with
it, it was a very really real and scary experience for him. I felt like
such a heel after that, I didn't have the heart to play with it anymore.

It was funny that this subject was brought up as I was just discussing BEK's
on another forum and they swore it was an Urban Legend and I couldn't
convince them that Brian was not making it up. Go figure.

When I was growing up, I noticed a shadow in my upstairs window. It was
of a relatively thin man almost 6 feet tall. He did wear a trench coat
and an old fedora hat, and tall boots. He played with me and helped with
my homework. He had a pleasant tenor voice, but he never directly gave me
his name.

As I got to know the shadow better, I could see his coloration (blonde
hair, steel blue eyes, fair skin) and he would move to different walls.
He was around in the afternoons as well as at night.

After being my friend for a couple years, he told me he could get rid of
my family's money problems. He said I'd never have to wear used clothes
or play with used toys again for as long as I lived - all I had to do was
promise to spend eternity with him. He said he offered my dad the same
thing years ago, back when my dad still lived on his parents' farm (I had
never heard _that_ story before).

I asked who he was to be able to make such a promise and the spirit just
laughed. I said I only knew of one being capable of delivering, but I was
unwilling to deal with _him_. The spirit told me if I wouldn't accept, he
would haunt my children and grandchildren until one would take advantage
of his offer.

I still told him no, and he started yelling at me in the most foul
language my young ears had heard. I ran out my room and flew down the
stairs.

In the kitchen, my dad was telling a story unfamiliar to me. When he was
8, he had wrestled with the Prince of Darkness after refusing all the
riches in the world! That's all I caught of the story as I rand out the
house and down the street to my friend's place.

I spent hours with Kenny. I was too scared to mention it to him and much
too scared to see what was waiting for me at home. Finally I joined my
family for dinner and then grudgingly went up the stairs (I still hadn't
told anyone for fear it was somehow my fault for letting the spirit stay).

As I opened the door, I found my bedroom deserted. A few days later, the
spirit returned and started harassing me (the worst was when he stabbed me
in the back with a blade - a scar I still have).

Shortly thereafter, my dad got a job offer which took us far from that
house. I didn't see the spirit for 10 years after the move, but his
return is a different story.

Based on my religious upbringing (I am a Christian), there is only one
possible identity for that spirit, and though I confronted him with that
name, he never once denied it.

I was raised Christian (still am), never practiced witchcraft, and still
had a similar experience. You can add Utah and Hawaii to the list of
states he's been spotted.

My post describing the spirit I knew goes into as much detail as I dare to
this late at night. Light skin, blonde hair, steel blue eyes. Wears a
black trench coat, tall boots, and a black fedora hat. Almost 6 feet tall.

I personally know of 9 people who can vouch for my description (two other
stories).

windmaster1, check out this website: http://shadows.ufo2u.com/ then
from the menu on the left, choose "Shadow Gallery," then proceed to
Gallery #2 ... that guy, in the hat, seems quite similar to what you
describe.

As for BEKs ... sorry didn't mean to beat a dead horse!!! (I've always
hated that saying.) Honest, it was not my intent to irritate any ...
'specially you Patrick. I never really got into alt.paranormal ... as
I found what I craved here.

Cheers ~ I'll let the subject drop ... again apologies for being an

katie: that June 3rd excursion sounds fab ... I'm gonna see if I can
get that weekend off, it'd be an eleven-hour drive for me. (I should
fly, hell with the price of gas it'd probably be cheaper!)

Carry on.

In the first part, I shared how a shadow befriended me when I was 7 and
how he turned violent after I turned down his offer at age 9 (he promised
me wealth for my family if I would just promise to live with him for
eternity). When my family moved that summer, this spirit did not follow
us. For 10 years I lived in peace from that fiend (I've got other stories
from that period to tell, though!).

I also mentioned how I was raised Christian. This seemingly insignificant
fact is what brought about my second set of experiences with the spirit.
You see, I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LdS,
also called Mormon). All young men are commanded to leave everything and
serve a full-time two-year mission. I was 19 when I started my mission.

I spent 2 months in the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah in order
to learn a little Portuguese (I was "called" to Brazil) and receive
instructions on how to effectively teach. It was within the confines of
the MTC that I next saw this spirit.

Missionaries within the MTC are divided into "districts." Each district
has the same schedule - eat together, go to classes together, and sleep in
the same dorm room. The MTC has very strict rules about what time to wake
up, how many hours of personal study you have each day, and when the
lights must be turned off.

One week my district was in extremely low spirits. We had an instructor
go postal (threw a chair and yelled that we'd never be ready). One elder
learned his mom was diagnosed with cancer. The parents of another elder
out-of-the-blue decided to get divorced. You get the idea - everything
was going poorly. At the end of the week as we turned off the lights (as
per the rules), it was too light to sleep, so we decided to talk of our
native lands. The talk eventually turned to ghost stories.

As I was talking about the Night Marchers the face of Elder Palmer changed
significantly. I had to do a double-take. I couldn't believe what I was
seeing, especially within the MTC.

I manage to whisper: "Excuse me, Elder Palmer, but you remind me of
_someone_"

"who?"

"_him_"

"him who?"

"The way you look right now - the color of your eyes, the expression on
your face - everything - reminds me of the devil."

A hush fell over the district. Finally Elder Garcia asked "How do you
know?"

As I told the story I previously shared with you guys, Elder Palmer's face
started to glow red. Everyone stared at him. A body of shadow, outlined
in red, stepped out of Elder Palmer and into the middle of the room. It
was him - the one that tormented me years before.

Everyone else was frozen with fear, so I jumped off my bunk bed and turned
on the light. The shadow was dimmer, but his presence still commanded our
attention. He turned at me, his finger pointing, his mouth opening to
utter some unwelcome message.

At that very moment, I raised my arm to the square and banished him; he
vanished without a word.

At that point Elder Palmer blinked and came to. Everyone (except Elder
Palmer) witnessed this manifestation. elder Palmer couldn't remember
anything from that night.

We sang a few hymns to calm our nerves, then I dedicated that room to the
Holy Spirit.

I have not seen that spirit since then.

some are the watchers of the in-betweens. keeping an eye on those who walk between worlds. both as guardians, and challengers. if one is not strong enough to face a man in black without panic, then one should probably avoid certain.....frequencies of reality until they are ready. not all are the same. approach with calm and alert caution.

I just don't understand why people are so stupid of they don't like a story that bother to read it. It makes them look even more stupid to even reply or try to make fun of it.
I think some CAN'T READ but babble at what others have to say.
