Pretty sad, isn't it?

Hey Gordon! Thanks for the shoutout. I really believed the core grp
that was here some years back would still be active.
Sad?
...and then some.
You take good care my friend and I'll check in once in awhile.

Hi Judith, nice to meet'cha and thanks for the shoutout.
Got any stories to post; seen any ghosts lately? Don't know your
history, but you prolly didn't show up without reason, eh? :)
Forgive the generalization, but since you live in the UK, one of the
peeps I'd really like to hear from is a lady called Sooz, or, Sue
Simpson, author of the incredibly engrossing book, "Better the Devil
You Know", who live in the Lake District. Does that ring a bell at
all?

Haunter

HA! I've just checked on my old website and found that, even after all
these years, it's still there; well, with a caveat.
Many of the links are now out of date and are dead. muHAhaHAAA!
However, the story page seems intact.
Soooo, if anyone's interested, spammers, gnomes and other creatures of
the suedo-skeptic excepted, here's my old story site:
http://www.geocities.com/soho/gallery/3549/stories.htm
These were borne of a time when there was a large active group of
like-minded folks, more as entertainment than stated fact. Artist's
license is assumed; after all, the group's name IS "folklore"..so
please, don't split hair or bust my chops about accuracy.
The operative concept is, "enjoy..." and see if you can't come up with
similar fare.
Respectively yours;
the newly bald Haunter....even Isis, the Super-Kitty of old, in some
not-so-skillfully Photoshopped fakes depicting one of my favorite
black-and-white felines from years past, would recognise the new
Haunter...well, other than the deep, melodious voice, that is :)

Not at all, Judith! Every thing "ghosty" is a plus :)) The ghosts we
get here in the New World (read: the West Coast of the Colonies, has
noting but newbie ghosts still learing their trade; you guys got
ghosts who've honed their craft for centuries and I'm jealous as hell
:))
Thanks for the reply and please do visit the link to my story page.
Comments are always welcome.
This might be a good opportunity for you to excercise your imagination
and produce that ghost story that's been fermenting in your
subconcious for years, or, go ahead and start your own
interviews/investigation into local lore and tell us the results.
Either way, I'd love to try to get this ole group active again and I
can sense that you could be a big part of that. Screw the flamers and
trolls, this is a great group; lets show'em how :)

Hi Judith;
I'd love to see some of your work...here. You just might start the Ole
Porch again, should you do so :)
Sue Simpson's book, "Better the Devil You Know" was published by this
sympathetic and enthusiastic publisher Best Books Online...at
publi...@bestbooksonline.co.uk
and they have a synopsis of same. Maybe they can help you too?
Nothing ventured...
Haunter
Hey Patrick! Great to see you again. I posted a reply on this thread
and it doesn't look like it took.
I hope things have gone well your way. Are you shaving your head or
did it all fall out? <WEG>
Drop me a line sometime and let's catch up.
Katie
Hey!!! There's my favorite ArkyGirl! :)_)))
How's the "new" house working out? The photos you sent when you were
about to move in looked like it was -made- for ghosties.
Geeez, girl, what happened to this grp? I was certain y'all would beat
the trolls back to the dark place they belong.
Oh well, the important thing is you're back and yes, I'd love to email
ya. Is the above addy active?
Haunter, all grins and goosebumps :)
Dang but it's great to see ya again.
The new house is wonderful and the neighborhood is even better.
They're MY kind of people if ya know what I mean. Our age and still
going strong partying and having fun.
Er, the troll are kinda my fault. My bad!
I get the ng's via google as this isp doesn't carry them and just by
chance I spotted your name on the daily digest thingy. I was
stoked!
The addy above is still good and we've got a TON of catching up to
do. I've had some major life changes this year and a lot of natural
disasters hit our area this spring. Tornados, floods, ice storms and
death in the family. See, loads to talk about but all is pretty cool
here. :)
Katie
Chk your email sweetie.
SHAME on you for destroying this grp and bringing flood, tornadoes and
pestilance to your community...I warned ya YEARS ago!
heheeh
Awwwww shucks, Cain't hep meself. De debbel made me do it!
Katie
Hey Katie;
Been about a week since my email to you.
Had a number...yes, more than three, events, related to those things I
brought up in email, so I've been somewhat distracted. Still, I'm a
little worried about no response via email.
try siquik2000atnetZEROdotkom again, should work.
Your old friend, no matter wat.

Hi Judith:
I understand; and you've peaked my interest in your stories. Do you
have a wesite where you've posted same? If not, you should think of
doing so.
If you go to my friend and colleague's website: psiapplications.com,
there -should- be record of some of our past investigations, but, no
guarantees...I have little to do with what he (steve mareno) puts
up..check for links to the Marine Museum ghost hunt and the thorough
investigation of local crop circles (OT).
Best regards:
Haunter
Hey guys... I'm here...sorta.
Shel, the flute doodler.

I LUV that style of writing; I'd add that the Brits have some of the
-best- ghost stories and legends. We here in the Colonies think houses
a hundred years old are ancient...HA!
Thanks eversomuch for taste, Judith.
Haunter
Hey Pat,
Check your email. I jetted you off a note kind of splainin' what's
been going on lately and please accept my deepest apology for not
answering sooner. I think my email will explain it all.
