This one was told to me by my Great grandfather who lived in the Ozarks mountains of Arkansas.
One night the Horses in the barn behing the house were making noise and seemed very disturbed about something. My Great Grandfather went out to see what was the matter. When he reached his hand through the opening in the gate to go into the corral by the barn another hand grabbed his from the other side of the gate. He was very upset about this and returned to the house. A few day later he passed away of a heart attach. His wife, my Great Grand Mother told stories about this gate and told all the kids to be careful out there at night. Some others apparently had their hands toutched in the old gate and ofter fell ill shortly there after.
