Hello Cherished Internet Geek!
Do you remember the TCP/IP Birthday Levees we had in 2003 and 2008? We are overdue for another one! January 1st will mark the 40th anniversary of turning up TCP/IP! If you were involved with building the Internet in the early days, or want to hang out with some people who were, please come!
I am VERY overdue for planning this, but it’s been a rather full year, and I apologise. However Dana Echtner and Bruce MacDougall have bravely stepped up as co hosts, and we have the perfect venue, so all we *really* need is… you! We’ve had the media there before, we’ll probably have them again.
When: January 1st, 1-4pm
Where: Dalhousie Computer Science Building Atrium, 6050 University Ave., Halifax, Canada
