I'm getting ready to buy a MacBook. I want to boot to Winows XP. There's
some programs that won't run in their OS, not to mention I can't afford
spending thousands in more software again. Can use the MacBook like a PC?
Are
there any limitations? I'd LOVE to get away from Microsoft if all will be
the same (or better) with a Mac.
BTW, what program would I use to creat a duel boot?
Many thanks,
Stephen

1) Dual boot comes with OS X. You don't understand what dual booting is. I
suggest doing some reading.

2) Limitations will strictly be driver issues under Dual Boot.

3) You may want to use Parallels instead. You can run it inside OS X and
it's much easier than switching between.

Well, the main thing to know is that you have to put a copy of Windows XP on
your Mac. That's a couple of hundred dollars to start plus the storage space
on your HD. Then, you have to buy and install the Mac software. Getting
away from Windows? Not really.
