Investigators in Butler County are trying to find out why a pizza delivery
man was found dead in the middle of a St. Clair Township road Tuesday
night.

The man, whose name has not been released by police, was found by a
neighbor in a quiet African American residential neighborhood by the
intersection of Biscayne and Flamingo drives around 11 p.m.

Neighborhood residents said they will be be on edge until they find out
what happened, however Butler County deputies are not telling 9News
whether or not the death is considered suspicious.

The man's hat and a pizza warmer were found in a home's driveway, just a
few feet away from where the body was found.

The woman who owns the home where the items were found was not home at the
time, neighbors say.

The streets where the man have reopened to traffic.

Update @ 12/20/2006 12:30:01 PM:
The Butler County Sheriff's Department is now questioning several persons
of interest in their investigation of the murder of Jeff Wilson.

They're also investigating whether or not this attack is related to the
attacks of other pizza delivery drivers in the area.

If you have any information about this crime, please call Crime Stoppers
at (513) 352-3040. You don't have to give your name and you may be
eligible for a reward if your tips lead to an arrest.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update @ 12/20/2006 12:01:01 PM:
Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones says the investigation into who
brutally beat and killed Donato's deliverer Jeff Wilson is still "hot" and
that his department hopes to have more by later Wednesday evening.

"You can run, but you can't hide; turn yourself in," Jones said.

The sheriff's department believes that the home that Wilson was called to
was used as a trap, as the home was actually empty at the time.

Wilson didn't even make it to the door before he was beaten and left for
dead in the street with his pockets turned inside out. He was later found
by a neighbor.

SAINT CLAIR TOWNSHIP -- Butler County sheriff's deputies have arrested two
people in connection with a man's death in St. Clair Township.

Residents along Flamingo Drive found Jeff Wilson, 47, lying in the middle
of the street shortly after 11 p.m. Deputies told News 5's Angela Brown
that it appeared Wilson had been beaten to death.

But late Wednesday afternoon, the Butler County coroner said that Wilson
had serious heart problems, which may have contributed to his death.

Detectives talked to neighbors and examined what appeared to be a pizza
delivery bag found in a nearby front yard. Wilson worked as a pizza
delivery man for Donatos Pizza.

"I run out and he was laid out on the street and they said a pizza driver
got killed and his pizza was laying on the other side of the
driveway," Wally Meisler said.

Neighbors said the woman who lived at the home had not been there for the
past few days.

A car believed to belong to Wilson was towed from the scene to be examined
for possible evidence.

Sheriff Richard Jones said that the death may be related to another pizza
delivery robbery that happened on Saturday.

"It's just a terrible tragedy to have animals that are out there preying
on individuals who are out there trying to work," Jones said. "We are not
going to stop until we hunt you down and we find out who you are and where
you are at."

Deputies said late Wednesday that Jeremy Harris, 22, and Chance Tabor, 22,
have been charged with aggravated robbery and murder.

Both are being held at the Butler County jail pending arraignment.

Not to pathetic losers who spend their lives looking for examples of
TNB every single day...

How does one conduct a family life in such circumstances?

It is quite bizarre...

Again, to be fair, in places with large African American populations one
doesn't have to look for examples of TNB, because it's apparent every day.

Such as in Camden, Cincinnati, Detroit, Atlanta, et al (also known as the
most violent, crime-ridden cities).
