Dear fellow firefighters,
This is a bit of a long shot but here goes , I'm a 35 year old Leading
firefighter in Essex , England , I've served for just under 10 years and am
seeking employment with view to moving to the U.S. I have a Graduate
qualification with the Institute of Fire Engineers, have passed two papers
of the membership examination with the institute and am sitting the other two
next year. Although, work within the fire service or allied fields would be
useful I'd consider anything that could be suggested .My leisure activities
include 19 years experience in
Mountain walking and Caving, Diving, Rock climbing, Canoeing. Before joining the
fire service I've been a painter and decorator and a silver service waiter ( an
unlikely combination I know ! ). If anyone can give any advice on finding
work/visas/settling in the U.S. it would be most appreciated
Paul
