And a new town was built? But they never dived did they to see the

No Dear.... the town is Wishram on the Washington side of the Columbia river
across from our The Dallas dam in a place called Dead Horse Creek.... (The
Dallas is one word not like the one in Texas.... kind of like thedallas or
tr-dallas if you speak fast) The Indian town was a trading spot for the
river Indians here with Indians coming from all over the west to trade for
cured salman and the stone to make tools from.... Once the dams were put in
only a little trading went on with about nothing today except you can buy
the fish (if they like you) from some of the Indians netting in the fish
right of ways for them.... Raynbeau and I just went on a walk along the
Cascades where the first locks were, also there was a fort on the other side
of the river that gives the area its name.... I think anyway.... Fort
Cascade with the apple and other trees that still show the basic ground
layouts....
I can go on and on about this but its kind of boring.... Like the"real
names" of all of our islands.... they are the same.... its Indian for
death....
By the way.... Raynbeau and I walked for over a half mile playing the other
day.... it felt so good and thats the best I've done in months.... I was
having a hard time getting past a couple of short blocks without taking a
break.... I hate my back.... I will make it stronger....

nine, we drove up the coast. We found a wonderful place to stay in The
Dalles. I think it called itself a motel, but it was actually a rather
large property, with lots of greenery, and separate houses. The houses were
old, but fully equipped. We loved the place!
Several years later we went back, and were amazed and delighted to find the
place just the same as we remembered it. That doesn't happen very often.

DALIN! You are cruel....lol...talking that way where a diabetic can
read it! lol Anyway,have one for me.:) It must be delicious. Al had a
great idea for a Valentines present. (I gave him a handpainted card:)
He gave me a big bowl of fat,cold,wonderful strawberries. And they
didn't raise my sugar.:)
