I understand that Trump was wrong and you would know tha tif ou had done
your homework.

Yes. Look at your own cite graphics and look at the time and date
stamps as the graphics unfold.
To assist you, I've done a time line:
1) Trump tweets at 7:51am - 1 Sept 2019 "In addition to.....Alabama will
most likely be hit (much) harder than anticipated."
https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1168174613827899393
Read the responses to Trump's tweet. Readers knew that he was wrong and
posted about it on Trumps's twitter feed.
2) NWS Alabama tweets at 8:11am - 1 Sept 2019 "Alabama will NOT see any
impacts from Dorian."
https://twitter.com/NWSBirmingham/status/1168179647667814400?s=20
So, 20 minutes AFTER Trump's tweet, NWS Birmingham corrects him. That
says very clearly that Trump was wrong. but then poor old Toddler
Trump, who has to be right about everything, even when he's wrong wrong
wrong, doubles down. Sad. Very sad.
At this sad stage when Trump tweeted, the NOAA denial which you have
quoted and which was only issued on 6 September shows very clearly that
at the time of Trump's tweet what he said was wrong. Alabama had already
been ruled out as being in the danger zone.
Now we come to the next item on the timeline:
which is YOUR cite and which was issued on 6 September 2019
>this is NOAA's statement:

> The statement read:
>
> "From Wednesday, August 28, through Monday, September 2, the information

> the wider public demonstrated that tropical-storm-force winds from Hurricane
> Dorian could impact Alabama," the statement read. "This is clearly

> "The Birmingham National Weather Service's Sunday morning tweet spoke in

> forecast products available at the time.""
Yes, it did say that. Sadly. Information out of NOAA and all over the
media right round the world indicates that the unsigned statement was a
coerced one. It was issued following threats from Wilbur Ross to sack
people within the NOAA if they didn't toe the line and back up the lies
told by Toddler Trump.
What a sad and pathetic situation.
Now here is a final graphic from a little housewife who was preparing
for Hurricane Dorian. Even she knew on 31 August 2019 that Dorian was
not going to have an impact on Alabama.

Trump was wrong. He was called on it within 20 minutes of his tweet by
the Birmingham Alabama NWS. He was called on it by many of twitter
followers. Even a humble housewife posted more up to date information
about what was happening with Dorian a full day before Trump posted his
wrong information.
Sad, very sad.
