Hordaland

Congratulations to your grandson, Kelly! He must be good, for them to
accept him.
Joy

He is very good and that's not because I'm his mamie-:)
I think I'll have to show you some of his drawings one of these days.
--
Kelly
Yeah for him! It is good that he has that resource, Kelly. I
do recall some of his art work, and how talented he is. I
hope you will post more examples as you receive them!
--
Jean B.
I'll ask him to draw something for me again-:)
--
Kelly
And Leah's going to be an artist....

Jean B.
So maybe we could create a club-:)

Oh, that's great, Kelly.
I remember you had some of his pictures on a web site, and they were just
amazing for his age.
So maybe he really will become a famous painter!
Jane
Of some of it, I do in fact.

Kelly
A year ago (he was 9 1/2) me made this for me:

His teachers really think he's gifted.
Who knows, we already had a famous painter in the family, so why not another
one? -:)
His youngest brother is taking after him and at 5 he's also very good. But
unfortunately, I haven't been as clever to collect his drawings-:(
---
Kelly
Can I buy one of his paintings before he becomes famous :-))

So, you can start with those, since I (and some others) are
now eagerly awaiting their appearance.

Indeed. I want to say there seems to be a genetic component
sometimes, but then it could also be exposure in some cases.

grandmothers are for. :-)
Paul
Congratulations to him Kelly! I remember when you put some of his
drawings up. :-)
Dalin
I think it's mostly in the genes.
Yes, i'll have to tell him just that, he doesn't have his brother's patience
though. he can sit for hours drawing - he did that at the age of 5 too.
--
Kelly
LOL
What i told my daughter before I knew how expensive it really was!!
--
Kelly

Hey! Frederic (I hope I spelled that correctly) can make some
money from all of us who want to buy a pic from him.... Or
maybe that's a bad idea.

Jean B.
Leah has always been like that too. They do develop their
talent that way.

LOL
You'll have to wait a bit until he becomes a bit more famous-;)

True, and it's also very good for a child's mental development.

But then we won't be able to afford his work. I want to say I
"knew him" way back when he was a kid! <g>

Jean B.
Congratulations to Frederic! He must be pretty excited. :-)
Suze
Thanks-:)

Kelly
LOL

Kelly
He is-:)
Here are some pictures of them and his very first drawings:
http://www.geocities.com/kellypetit/frederic.html
He was not yet 3 when he drew the first one (the elephant)
--
Kelly
Hi Cobey, nice to see you back-:)
Frédéric is ten now and he's become very good.
Sponsors? That must be his maternal grandparents. lol
--
Kelly
It is rather discouraging to know that I cannot draw a tank engine better
than a five-year-old, even if he *is* talented. :-(
Jane
LOL
When he was 5, he wanted to become an engineer and build trains!
--
Kelly
Yes I think so.Same on here for pocketmoney.
Coby

We grannies are really too nice-:)
--
Kelly
No, we're not all blond-:)
My mother had black hair like a raven and so did both my grandfathers. But I
had one grandmother who was blond and one redhaired.
But Frédéric looks more like his French family, that's for sure.
