Maybe the group needs a continuous posting stating what is expected of new users
As I have stated - You are not being careful or wise with the e-mail
If you have applied for an e-mail account with proton e-mail without using a VPN
and if you have used your regular email address as a back up you may have made a big
mistake as Protonmail have to supply even the most basic information to authorities
they have done it in the past, sure they do not keep logs , but any informaion is too much
information

This scheme opens you up to a sting operation and if you have everyones e-mail on your
computer then - Goodby

This newsgroup is a place where you are EXPECTED to abide by the "House Rules", these rules have been agreed apon by the major contributors of this news group

1. Do NOT post someone elses password
2. Do NOT give any hints of someone elses password
3. Do NOT be rude

etc

If you have trouble finding passwords then we suggest
1. Use XNEWS it is an excellent old news reader that gives you access to every header in
a neswgoup and when you learn the filtering system will get you where you want to go

2. Use PASSWARE this will allow you to store passwords and open any unknown pw
as long as you have opened previously files containing that pw - jut dont be fooled in
using brute force - medium learning curve
