I am looking for an inexpensive software solution to a need to receive a fax
locally and have it converted to email which is then automatically transmitted
to a POP account for viewing.

So far I have found RelayFax and Pelican Messenger. RelayFax seems to have an
attitude about their support. Having a problem installing the Pelican demo.

Anyone have a suggestion?

Thanks Steve,

I looked at eFax, but their phone numbers have a midwest areacode and we're
trying to avoid long distance charges on many multiple faxes per day. We'd
use it if there werre local numbers in our markets.

Thanks again, any more suggestions?

I'm using a program called 'FREE-FAX Print' on a win 95 box that
apparently does what you need, but I haven't tried the relay part of it.
You can get it from WWW.FREEFAX.NET

Hmmm... I would suggest you Popfax.
It's cheap, convenient and fast. I didn't get any delays with receiving faxes. Anytime. Pricing is flexible - able to find a pack for any need.
What else... they have a lot of discounts and special offers. Like they had recently, with Galaxy as a prize.
Offers you can see here http://www.popfax.com/faxmailing.html
