Does anyone know of a really good free-lance makeup or department store
makeup artist that does an awesome job? I'm going to be in a wedding, so
I need suggestions!
Thanks a bunch, Lorie
Yes, yes. Go to Saks in Union Square and ask about the man who works
freelance for Nars but also works there for McEvoy. I can't remember
his name now, but they'll know who you mean. He has been in the
business for 14 years and gave me a beautiful but natural looking Nars
makeover. I've also had a good one done by Donna with Stila at
Nordstroms but don't know how often she works

Lancome Rouge Absolu line "Magenta Lumier". This line is long lasting and

My standby's: MAC Verve, Jane Kind of Carob, or WnW 666 over lipbalm.
I tried Stila Lynn on Saturday (the Houston/Rice a.f. shopping trip
with Andrea & Cassie) and loved it! Instead bought a Prestige
lip crayon that looked similar.
Good luck!

For a more low key look, I go for Clinique Guava Stain. Snagged an extra
tube of it in a giveaway last month and noticed that the texture was
different. . . more glossy. Anyone else notice this? My old tube had a
more matte finish.
My fave lip liner which often doubles as a lipstick: Clinique Mahogany.

I forgot about it last time I posted.

How does Wuss compare to Twig? On me, Twig is a nice, neutral pinky
beige (I was surprised that it wasn't browner...), and I've heard a lot
about Wuss, so I'm curious.

Could you describe the color of Electra? I just recently found a teeny,
teeny Prestige display at Wal-Mart, and they only had Chianti and Pinot
Noir left. I bought the Pinot Noir, thinking it'd be a nice, dark, wine
color, but when I put it on, it was this really bright red! I'm debating
on whether to return it, give it to my mom (she likes red), or keep it
for a future swapping item. :) Such a shame that I don't like the color,
because I think it's cute, since it's so small. :)

- Clinique Vanilla Brownie (It's soooo pratical!!!)
- L'Oreal Coffee Bean

I wasn't the original poster, but I, too, wear Modum quite frequently.
Sometimes I wear it by itself, sometimes with Spice liner and sometimes
with Chestnut liner. I'm a C4.

I like to wear Modum with Revlon's Colorstay liner in Nude.
I'm not dark skinned - I would describe myself as medium.
Hope that helps!!

The expression on your face adds more to your beauty than makeup...
For the natural, almost no-makeup look: Aveda Sheer Camellia or Estee
Lauder Sheer Blackberry
For a daytime (i.e. professional) look: BB Brown or Nude (depending on
whether the rest of my makeup is cool or warm toned), sometimes MAC Spirit
For evening or special occasions: Stila Luce, MAC Verve, BB Chocolate or
Aveda Sheer Ambrosia
These are the current faves, and this list is under constant
revision......
