Does anyone know of a really good free-lance makeup or department store
makeup artist that does an awesome job? I'm going to be in a wedding, so
I need suggestions!

Thanks a bunch, Lorie

Lancome Rouge Absolu line "Magenta Lumier". This line is long lasting and
at the same time, moist and creamy. With my grey hair, fair skin and blue
eyes, this shade prompts the most compliments.

My standby's: MAC Verve, Jane Kind of Carob, or WnW 666 over lipbalm.

I tried Stila Lynn on Saturday (the Houston/Rice a.f. shopping trip

lip crayon that looked similar.

Good luck!

Cast another vote for MAC Del Rio! I love it too. I find that it has a
nice cool shade to it that really goes with my skin tone.

For a more low key look, I go for Clinique Guava Stain. Snagged an extra
tube of it in a giveaway last month and noticed that the texture was
different. . . more glossy. Anyone else notice this? My old tube had a
more matte finish.

My fave lip liner which often doubles as a lipstick: Clinique Mahogany.

How does Wuss compare to Twig? On me, Twig is a nice, neutral pinky
beige (I was surprised that it wasn't browner...), and I've heard a lot

Could you describe the color of Electra? I just recently found a teeny,
teeny Prestige display at Wal-Mart, and they only had Chianti and Pinot
Noir left. I bought the Pinot Noir, thinking it'd be a nice, dark, wine
color, but when I put it on, it was this really bright red! I'm debating
on whether to return it, give it to my mom (she likes red), or keep it
for a future swapping item. :) Such a shame that I don't like the color,
because I think it's cute, since it's so small. :)

This is just a suggestion, but you might want to try the John Frieda
Frizz-ease hair serum/shampoo/conditioner or his new "readytowear"
hair products. You might want to check with Aveda, Sebastian,
Back-to-Basics, Bumble&Bumble(?), Freeman's version of frizz-ease,
Citre Shine, Jherring Redding, etc. seems that most companies
are getting in on the "frizz-ease" formula. Now I don't know
if any of this will work for you, but you probably should
check them out and see if you can get a "trial size" of any or all and
experiment to see what's going to work or not. But I think with
these products you will have to blow-dry but it might not take that
long, I don't know. But check some salons maybe there is a product
that will just make it straight, to make my hair straight I have to
get a relaxer (chemical processing) and use the hair serum to smooth
it out when blow-drying. Or ask a good salon what do they use
for clients who have curly hair but want it straight for a day or
two. I saw a picture of Julienne Marguilles (sp??) of ER with
straight hair in People magazine, she looks totally different and
it looked nice. So there's definitely something. Unless it
was a wig. If you have access to InStyle mag with Courtney Cox
on the cover in it were 110 beauty suggestions for make-up/skin care/
hair etc. maybe check in there also.

Well hopefully this will help as a base for you. Tell us what you
tried and what worked.
