My name is Colin Goldberg, I am a digital artist and designer
originally from NYC, and I just put some T-shirt designs up online. I
ordered some (they are produced by cafepress) and was psyched about the
quality - they actually print directly onto the shirt somehow, its not
heat-transfer. Anyhow, I am currently in gradschool for Digital Art,
and wanted to see if I can sell some shirts online, but mostly use the
shirts as a vehicle for my artwork. I am rapidly becoming
disillusioned with the gallery world, and would like to find an avenue
that works for the work. My fantasy is that some fashion person would
dig them and want to licence the artwork, or help me distribute it
under my own brandname as an investment partner that could aid in
distribution, as I am not really a fashion person (studied painting for
undergrad) anyhow most of the artwork was created from 1999-2004, all
in Adobe Illustrator - its all colorful abstract stuff - love to hear
some feedback! Also feedback on pricing would be helpful, as this is
something still variable.
