Heads up for all you make-up junkies!
The MAKE-UP ARTIST MAGAZINE ANNUAL TRADE SHOW is 6/17 and 19 in Pasadena at
the Convention Center. This is for pros, amateurs and the general public is
most welcome!! It is 30 dollars per day or $50 for the two days by advance
purchase OR at the door
it is $35 per day or $60 for the two days. FOUR great Make-up artists will
be the key note speakers: Dan Striepke, Matthew Mungle, Tricia Sawyer and
Michelle Burke. Plus there will be seminars and demos by several other
working make-up artists including
Todd McIntosh and Douglas Noe of BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER. PLUS there is
the vendor area that is really FUN to take a look at all the special
effects products as well as beauty products to try. There is a make-up
artist competition on both days: Fantasy make-up on Saturday; Historical
Character on Sunday. This show was super last year: it should be even
better this year!
