Swap (long list from first timer-High end)

Okay y'all…here goes. Watching the rest of you has convinced me to swap so I
went through my drawers and picked out the stuff you'll find at the end of this
post. I apologize in advance for this post being so long. Being a first
timer, I guess I have a lot to ask and explain.
Having never swapped before and therefore having no reputation with any of you,
I have picked out only that stuff which I think is is excellent condition and
has either never been used or has been tried a few times and relegated to the
Buyer's Remorse drawer. In the case of foundations and powders, I have allowed
my skin color to get a little darker with the sun and decided I like it and
will leave it that way. No bad sun comments please. :) But I know I have to
prove myself on this and I hope you give me the opportunity. You will find that
I am an extraordinarily honest person. The only thing I ask is patience as
this is my first swap. I expect to be somewhat overwhelmed by it and probably
won't be as efficient or fast as some of you pros. If anyone has any advice
for me, including who is/is not a reputable swapper, please feel free to offer
it here or via email.
As for what I would like in return, I suppose it will be the usual suspects. I
have never been a fan of drugstore cosmetics because I find the hit-or-miss to
end up being as expensive as the dept. lines. (Although looking at the stuff I
had in my drawers this morning, I should rethink this! LOL) So I'd prefer to
exchange to high-end products since there are many that intrigue me from
reading your discussion and are also not available in my area.
The staples of what I use now might give good guidance. Lately, I wear BB
stick foundation in Sand, BB stick blush in Pink Sand, BB sheer lipsticks in
Ruby, Pink or Bare. I use BB pressed powder in the new #5 Sand Beige and also
have the loose in that color but find the loose to come out darker than the
pressed so I can't use it yet. On my eyes, I boringly wear Il Makiage Taupe
only, Chanel taupe brow pencil and Chanel Instant Lash mascara in brown/black.
Pretty boring, huh? But it really does all look good on me and very polished.
And best of all, it takes no time to put this face on and time is always a
premium for me. As you will see in my swap list, I used to be (still am) a
Chanel freak.
But what I would like to exchange for are things I know I will like and things
you think I might try. I know I will need darker foundations for the summer.
Last year I went through the various Chanel foundations all the way up through
4.5 This year I would rather stick with BB or something else like MAC SF,
Laura Mercier or Vincent Longo. I would also like to try the Stila blushes and
shadows you all rave about. So my wish list is:
BB loose powder appropriate for someone who wears Sand foundation
BB foundations darker than Sand, like 4 or 5
BB blush stick in Tawny
Any high end brand of foundation, blush or powder that you think I should try
Trish McEvoy brushes, especially #21 and 29. I already have #6,9,10,11,18,20
and 25
Eyebrow kit, preferably Hard Candy or Chanel
Le Clerc powder, pressed or loose
Stila eyeshadows (you recommend the colors-nothing too wild)
Still blush in Fade or similar
I'll try anything Kiehl's-have a lot of it but will always use more
Laura Mercier foundation primer
Lip glosses, particularly the Chanel colors you all like
Nars anything - I've never tried it
MAC anything - never tried it either
Neostrata products-I use 'em all
I know the above looks picky, but that is just my "wish list" of things I know
I will use or want to try. Any other offers or suggestions are certainly
welcome. I've never been particularly fond of Estee Lauder or Lancome though.
No skin treatment items for the face please. Can't use most of them due to
reactions.
FYI, I have dark blonde/light brown hair, hazel eyes if that helps. I have no
idea what I am in the C4, N2 skin color categories that you all use. BB sand
and Chanel level 2 are about my skin color, although this changes all during
the year due to sun exposure. I often have 10 different foundations because I
am very picky about the color being just right. On any given day I need a
different color AND a different texture. I've had color printing by
Prescriptives and two said I was a yellow/orange and one said a blue/red, so I
still don't know!

I'd like to swap for your Kiehls' lipbalm. Here is my list, I hope you find

Heres my swap list. I am looking especially for Philosophy, MAC, Smell THIS,
Stila, Shisiedo, Shu Uemura and Burt's Bees, but I am open to any and all
offers. I usually throw in some freebies and samples, if I have some. I clean
off all my makeup with alcohol and water before swapping, as well as their
packages. I am swapping all my stuff because the color isn't me or I have an
allergy, so don't worry nothing is wrong with it! I will either swap or sell,

CLINIQUE- Lip Shaping Pencil in Mahagony (2). Browny peachy natural. Never
used.

JANE- Eye Zing in Blue Funk. Navy color. Goes great with Oneliner. Used 1x.
