LM all the way! No need to even set it with powder and it is so moisturizing!

Ones that I *approve* of right now :
-Ben Nye Red Neutralizer in #1 ( slight dry texture that doesn't budge
once on skin, yet surprisingly doesn't emphasize the fine lines under
my eye area too)
-YSL Touche Eclat ( yesh, it's pink! Horrors! who'd have thought pink
toned anything would work on my pale very yellow skin, but
mystifiyingly, it does work to brighten up the eye area, perhaps due
to the overall sheerness of the prdt, the pink doesn't quite scream
out.)
-Keromask by Christy ( A rather new aquisition, relatively hard to
find and imo damn expensive for the tiny tube but what a gem! Covers
flawlessly w/o sinking into fine lines and just a smidgen, as in a
tiny dot will be enough for both eyes. Make sure to moisturise the
undereye area well first as it's super-pigmented and needs a moist
surface to blend perfectly. Anyone who knows me, would know that I
rarely if ever rave about any product, but this is one concealer that
everyone should try)

Hey Daph, oh skincare guru of mine, so happy to see you post! Now you
can directly convey your wisdom on skincare and foundations to AF,
rather than via yours truly.

Yes, love this! A soft and creamy pencil that doesn't pull on the
fragile undereye area. Offers nicely opaque coverage.

I've never met anyone as picky about concealers <g>. I've tried out
Daph's tube of Keromask in Ultra Light, and yes, it's great. I want one
of my own! For those of you who love Shu's Mark Cealer for its super
coverage, but find Beige 4 still too dark, Keromask in Ultra Light is a
very nice, super pale yellow-based shade. It comes in 6 shades in total,
Dark, Medium, Light, Ultra Light, Yellow, and White. You can find out
more at http://www.amazingconcealer.com/.
Screenface used to have this, but no longer :(. Brushup also sells
Keromask, and I know Andira and Daphne are also hoping to stock it (good
luck, guys).

If I am your skincare gure, then surely you are my *colour
initiato*r...if not for your constant urgings to be brave, daring and
*seize that heavenly, shimmering, bold green*, I'd still be lost in
the sea of pale beiges and whites, alas now, I can barely resist
anything green, blue, purple, turquoise and glittery and for that, I
thank you...
The keromask, I found can also be used to mixed with some moisturiser
to form your own DIY TM, and because it's so very pigmented, once
again, you only have to use a miniscule portion of it to get it to
work and it really worked just as well as my LM.
I have also tried using loose mineral powder e.g LBD, BE and
youngblood as a concealer and it did work somewhat, gave nice glowy
coverage, but a bit of a hassle to concoct as one has to mix the
powders with an eyecream first and it had to be a very exact amount of
powder used as too much would render it gunky and hard to blend while
too little wouldn't provide the coverage needed.
I would still opt for the Ben nye as the overall winner as it gave the
optimum coverage and had the texture that I look for in an undereye
concealer. iT is creamy yet wasn't too emollient that after 5 mins,
it'd start to crease...perfect imo. Also, the price can't be beat.
About $6 for a small pot.
still on the hunt,

You, madam, are single-handedly responsible for my now huge skincare
expenditure :P. To think I couldn't tell retinol from AHA before!

Oh thank you, you know I had to return the favour ;-). And I refuse to
take responsibility for that fuchsia obsession you have going on, btw...

And I imagine to get the perfect shade, one could mix in the white
and/or yellow shades as toners. I'm not even a religious concealer user,
but I can't wait to get my hands on a tube of keromask now! (This is
true lemming spirit, eh?)

That's what I thought too, that it'll be hard to get an even product. In
any case, I find loose mineral powder too hard to use as foundation, and
I wouldn't buy it just for use as concealer.

Oh you weren't talking about the pencil? Ok, I have to admit being lazy
with concealers. I like Shu's Mark Cealer very much, for example, but
most days it's just easier to use the Ben Nye pencil, or Nars concealer
(comes in a twist up lipstick tube). The Nars is quite nice if you
aren't looking for maximum coverage.
I also have the BB concealer (in a small concealer), but I haven't used
it much. Even more often, I just use a stick foundation on the parts
that need concealing. FACE Stockholm Highlighter Yellow (in a pot) is a
very pale pastel yellow that works well. It's rather dry and waxy, and
you just need very very little (or else you can get odd yellow patches
under the eyes). Another pale waxy yellow (though not pastel but closer
to skin tone) concealer is Le Maquillage Fard Creme in C.1. I don't have
dry skin, so I don't have much difficulty with dry concealers. In
addition to moisturising the eye area, what works really well is to hold
the finger over the undereye area, let the concealer melt in nicely,
then pat it in to blend. I believe I learnt the trick here.
I meant, in a small compact. This one is pretty dry too, I just noticed.
Yes yes. And when it comes to under eye concealers, how can I forget
Daphne?
I've been using Stila's eye concealer and realised now that it's the
culprit that emphasized my fine lines, by bringing all the powder
particles in the creases.
I guess I will have to search for the Keromask ($40!!!!) and the Ben
Nye. If it's an aye from Daphne, it can't be too bad.

I think you'll really like the ben nye. It comes in both the pencil
(which saresha likes a lot and which I regret not getting! ) and pot
form. Remember the KP pencil concealer that we tried before? Well, the
BN pencil one is way creamier and gives an even better coverage than
that! Except that the KP one was a pale pale yellow shade while the BN
is a pale neutral, I believe there is one called mellow yellow that
lives up to it's name but not quite as pale as I'd like it to be, but
the texture is equally great as the red neutralizer.
For lighter coverage ( or for those with less severe undereye problems
as I ), you could try Lancome's Effercerns, comes in a tube and super
blendable, or Loreal's Visible Lift concealer which is so much like
the above only 2x cheaper! Both are really smooth and covers nicely
without drying out the skin or sinking into those dreaded lines. One I
did not like was the CM concealer which despite felt and looked so
nice when tested out on my hand (as most prdts do, strangely, okok so
maybe my face is more wrinkled than anywhere else on my body ) when on
really blotchy and unevenly under the eyes, no matter how long I took
to pat it on.
Okay girls, I believe I've gone on enough about concealers for the
night.....time to catch some Zzzz before Iam forced to resort to
something stronger than mere concealer, lazer surgery perhaps?
hmm...something to sleep on.....
nite all!
