I'm borrowing this from the June USA Vogue--it's now our turn!

Top Three Items in Her Suitcase:

A cashmere sweater, white tee shirt(s), L.L. Bean day hikers

Always in Her Beauty Bag:

D.R. Harris Skinfood cream, Eve Lom cleanser, MD Formulations sensitive skin
cream and cleanser, Talika lash conditioner

Favorite Hotel:

The Hotel Nestle in Paris. I've been four times, and never get tired of it.
This last trip Joel and I stayed in the room with it's own Hamam in the
courtyard. Ah..... Every room is different and has it's own theme.

Books to Pack This Summer:

Surfacing by Margaret Atwood... I'd also like to read Kitchen Confidential

Sports She'll Play:

I love walking... through cities, parks, on trails... anywhere!

Favorite Beauty Treatment:

A facial. The best so far has been at Carita in Aix-en-Provence.

Favorite Cultural Excursion:

A trip back to my favorite museum, the Guggenheim museum in Venice.

Dream Travelling Companions:

My husband, Joel, without a doubt. No one else--I want him all to myself!

Favorite Restaurant:

It would have to be either Tsunami in London or Les Jumeaux in Paris. Both
London and Paris are spoiled for choice these days. Les Jumeaux has
extraordinary menu of starter, main course and dessert for 30 euros.

Best Souvenirs;

Makeup, haircare and skincare from local places... the local specialities in
beauty care! Perfume is a favorite because using it brings back such memories.

Most Unforgettable Experience:

For me, it was meeting my husband and falling in love with him while on holiday
in London.

Dream Destination:

Japan, Iceland and an African safari

CDs She Can't Leave Home Without:

Tori Amos. I always take her complete collection on the road with me.

Favorite Shop:

Comtoir Sud Pacifique at the Place Vendome in Paris and any of the bigger
Monoprixes. Also adore the Frederic Malle shop in Paris too!

Vacation Diet:

I love trying local specialities, but I do try to eat as healthily as
possible--lots of sushi, etc. Monoprix has a fantastic organic juice bar on
the Rue St. Germaine--wow!

How Travel Inspires Her:

Travel always makes me look within. I like keeping a journal while
travelling---reflecting at night after my adventures really seems to clarify
things for me.

Walking, walking, walking...would also love to ride anywhere in Europe,
NZ, or Iceland.

Museums, libraries, bookstores...and shopping. ;)

My SO. My dear friends Beth and/or Marco. My dear friends from AF (you

Would enjoy trying as many as I could. I'm partial to...wait, I'm partial

* Best Souvenirs;

Local specialties such as crafts, jewelry, leather. Books.

Extremely tame compared to most of you, but I'd say driving from TX to PA
last summer with my SO (nice country you got down there :).

England. Just drop me off with some sandwiches and I'll be fine.

* CDs She Can't Leave Home Without:

Classic blues, REM, Susan Tedeschi.

Beware - Teva sandals ALWAYS look weird on X-ray. Even well before

Traveling always inspires me to travel more. I realize whenever I see a
new place that the world is so big and I've only seen such a tiny
portion of it. Travel also inspires me to slow down and enjoy life.
The last few places I've been, life is so slow and people seem to be so
relaxed. I'm envious of that and become inspired to live that way too.

Anywhere with SERIOUS architecture.

>Dream Travelling Companions:

Anyone who'll put up with me. (Not as easy as it sounds.) Anyone who can walk
as fast as I do. (DEFINITELY not as easy as you think) Anyone who likes doing
precious little save for looking at the surroundings from the sidewalk table of
a cafe.

I rip them and load them up on FlashMem cards to take with my PDA. But the
important bits are: Glenn Miller, any Rockabilly and any Surf Music all of
which, to me, say "Travel."

>Favorite Shop:

Anything along Jermyn Street in London.

>Vacation Diet:

Authentic local cooking! Authentic local cooking! When I am outside the US (and
sometimes INside the US, but off the beaten path) I really want to avoid the
hot, trendy and "Great" restaurants. I like the trattorie, bistros, BBQ joints
of the world.

In Continental Europe (London, UK & Ireland get a special dispensation) you
cannot drag me into anything that has more than one Michelin Star.

>How Travel Inspires Him:

It lets me be arrogant and obnoxious to a completely different group of people.
Also, I like doodling (badly) with my pack of colored pencils and trying to
capture the local color. I also like keeping a journal of stuff I have tasted,
recipes, labels, etc.

* Top Three Items in Her Suitcase:
black pants if winter, khakis if summer, coordinating twin set, at
least one fantastic scarf

* Always in Her Beauty Bag:

My "daily face" of the moment. Clinique Almost Makeup for light coverage
and SPF, a pinkish blush, Bonne Bell lipsmacker, green or plum mascara,
plus black, Jane Eye Zings in Dream Cream and Twilight Zone to line,
Garden Botanika Lip Crayon in Spice, a gloss. Travel sizes of my usual
moisturizer, hair stuff, etc. I don't change products or add anything
when I'm traveling.

Books to Pack This Summer: light stuff for the plane and Access/Eye
Witness guides. I don't find that I do a lot of reading once I've arrived.

* Sports She'll Play:

walking and swimming, where available.

* Favorite Beauty Treatment:
Manicure and/or pedicure, but I've actually only done this once. I don't
tend to do spa stuff when I travel.

* Favorite Cultural Excursion:
Concerts! Historic houses, film museums, natural history museums
... actually any really old museum of anything because I'm interested in
visual culture. And art museums, depending on the collections.

* Dream Travelling Companions:
TSMIM

* Favorite Restaurant:
TSMIM likes foodie joints and I like local color. I would probably want
to head to a place people have been eating at for a long time, like
Galatoire's in New Orleans or Loch-Ober's in Boston. But I'll go and get
the foodie stuff, too.

* Best Souvenirs;
I always have to try to get a building for my collection. After that,
books and drugstore cosmetics.

* Most Unforgettable Experience:
I'd say Venice. It defines picturesque. I don't think I took a bad
picture there. It's amazing.

* Dream Destination:
Japan

* CDs She Can't Leave Home Without:

I never bring CDs ... maybe now I'd bring my iPod, though. It would help
on the plane ride, that's for sure.

* Favorite Shop:
I suppose it would be Detaille, in Paris.

* Vacation Diet:
I tend to lose or at least maintain my weight because I eat no junk food,
don't have access to food all day long, and walk so much. I lost weight
in Italy even though I was pregnant and eating quite a bit--but the
produce is so good that I was eating a lot of vegetables and fruit, and
walking miles each day.

* How Travel Inspires Her:

It inspires my idiocy. I get excited from a display of foreign candy, for
Heaven's sake.

Soooo fun and fun to read the responses!

Maybe the Delano, though Miami would not be first choice for vacation (maybe
4th or 5th though!). The Soho Grand is nice too, and of course all the good

Me too, it seems so gross. I'm also looking forward to Harry Potter 5,
whenever that may be.

I'd have to agree with Maurey here!

I probably have one but it's not coming to mind. I like all shops. :)

Vacation is about the only time I eat seafood, which translates to shrimp
and scallops. Sometimes I'll drink pink alcoholic drinks on vacation too,
which is crazy!

Every time I get on the road, I start dreaming about all the things I wish I
had done, or things I should do. Sometimes I'm inspired to actually get
some of it done. I've written dozens of country songs while traveling.

Probably not! ;-) When I lived in NYC, the steamed hot-dogs on steamed
white bread buns were called steamies. So bad and yet so good...I could
happily plant myself next to a steamy cart and eat 'em all day. The odd
thing is, I'm not fond of hot-dogs in general and never eat them unless I'm
in NYC...go figure! Here in Toronto, the hot-dogs and sausages are barbequed
and served in giant egg buns covered in poppy seeds but I say give me a
steamy over that any day! Doesn't make a lot of sense but there you have
it! ;-)

The little boutique in Auckland, NZ that saved my butt by not only being the
only place in the country selling summer dresses in June (it's not their

airport in time for my flight that was leaving very shortly so I could buy
it duty free. I had a out-of-town wedding I had to fly to a couple of days

Excellent thread, Maurey!

: Top Three Items in Her Suitcase:

Little black dress, cashmere cardigan, black tank top.

: Always in Her Beauty Bag:

L'Oreal Quickstick Blush in Twany, Chanel Sculpting Mascara, Chanel
Glossimer in Glaze, Kheil's Baby Lipbalm, Creme de la Mer.

:
: Favorite Hotel:

The Inn at Laguna... a lovely hotel in Laguna Beach which is right on the
beach... absolutely lovely. Not too big, but not *too* intimate, either.

: Books to Pack This Summer:

The Hundred Secret Sense by Amy Tan, the only book of hers I have yet to
read; The House of Mirth to re-read.

: Sports She'll Play:

Tennis, swimming, and that's it. Maybe a little golf, but I'm a very, very
poor golfer.

: Favorite Beauty Treatment:

Manicure or pedicure at the Aveda salon in my home city, which is
unfortunately, the most luxurious salon in the area.

: Favorite Cultural Excursion:

Museums in my favorite cities, the opera in San Francisco, the light opera
in my own city, the symphony in San Francisco.

: Dream Travelling Companions:

My darling SO, of course! I don't get him all to myself nearly as often as I
wish.

: Favorite Restaurant:

Morton's of Chicago in my home city... NUTS! I'm blanking out on my favorite
resteraunt in San Francisco... Oriental Something although I would hardly
call the food Asian.

: Best Souvenirs;

Pencils. I collect pencils from various places. Jewelry from museums.

:
: Most Unforgettable Experience:

Falling in love with my SO.

: Dream Destination:

China (again), Paris, Rome.

: CDs She Can't Leave Home Without:

Nah, I can live without CDs.

: Favorite Shop:

Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus and Sephora in San Francisco.

:
: Vacation Diet:

Love to try the local specialities! I do not diet in the negative sense of
the word during vacations... I do that beforehand so I can enjoy thinness
for a short period and eat whatever I want!

: How Travel Inspires Her:

Traveling, I think, is the best way to discover myself, broaden my
perspective of things, and it really makes me appreciate how lucky I am to
be a privilaged person in this often cruel world. If you ever go to China,
you'll really understand how great your lot in life is!

>> Best Souvenirs:
> *Makeup/clothes from anywhere!

I forgot to mention that too! Last summer, I got some great Norweigan
sweaters in Tallinn, Estonia for only $30 or so each, and they'd cost about
$200 a piece in other places. Truly a wearable souvenir.

I forgot to mention my favorite hotel in my previous post. It would have to
be the Venetian in Las Vegas. I also love the Beverly Hills Hotel (which
I've never stayed at actually) and the Hilton Waikoloa in Hawaii (on the big
island).

I've been undecided on my favorite restaurant, but I really think it would
have to be Spago in Beverly Hills. The dishes are always perfect and the
atmosphere is fun. Other excellent restaurants I've eaten at are Paola (a
wonderful upscale neighborhood Italian restaurant in the Upper East Side of
NYC), Nate 'n Al's deli in Beverly Hills (the best deli in the world, IMO),
Fleur de Lys in San Francisco, and Buona Tavola (a local Italian restaurant
in my town..San Luis Obispo). I also love Cheesecake Factory and always get
excited about going there. For dessert my favorite, hands down, is
Serendipity in NYC for their amazing Frrrozen Hot Chocolate. I just love
being there too (and I loved the movie as well!). One day I will eat at
French Laundry in Napa.... <sigh> I love restaurants.

Laurel, I'm so pleased to find someone who knows about this place--apart from
the friends who insisted I go, it's been hard to find folks who have been
there. Even my London host didn't know about it (his "I'll do whatever you
want, dear" manner evaporated as soon as we stepped inside, however ;-) ). We
stepped in just at the right time as they were opening the panels up in the
room with all of the paintings to show us the hidden ones and the gallery over
the Medieval room. A truly wonderful and unique place.

Wellll, I guess it was no picnic. But even thought the
thread was on vacations, the question itself didn't
specify, so I gave the most honest answer I could.

I guess I most remember the marine exhibit room at
the SI Museum of Natural History when I was 13. It
was a huge, warehouse of a room, lined with both
live and model exhibits of current and past marine
life. But the experience was looking up to see just
how (and why) the room was so vast..., and seeing a replica
of a full-grown whale suspended from the ceiling. I swear,
this room was like a hangar for the Hindenberg, and that
whale stretched from end to end. I can't begin to explain
how HUGE it was. I don't remember what kind it was.
One of the "big" kind. kayper

So, so many. Since I love to just take off and explore,
unforgettable experiences occur in almost every trip; most involve
meeting amazing people. Ending up at Francis Ford Coppola's house in

I always seem to return home with tons of creative ideas and renewed

lucky -- when I'm old and too feeble to travel, I'll have my memories.

Well, in that case...

My Number One travel fantasy is to run the original Mille Miglia route in
Italy, ideally in an Alfa Romeo Argento, TZ-1, 3000CM or GSQ. A Ferrari (250

Ahahaha! Of course it is. The place we were at had indoor cooling pools you
could jump into as well. Now keep in mind there were about 20 of us (I was
invited to give a paper in Tampere and this was one of the activities for the
folks there)--all women, by the way, as in Finland men and women sauna
separately--milling in and out of the large sauna, sitting on benches in the
snow (this was late April) drinking beer, jumping in the cooling pool (about
50F). Finally it became clear we were going to have to jump in the lake.
Perhaps we were fueled by the beer, but it seemed, well, rude not to use the
hole the folks had chopped for us. So in we went. I only remember the
absolute shock I felt as I went under. And the incredible exhilaration upon
surfacing. (and that cooling pool seemed pretty warm after the lake!)

Blushun, I have a friend who makes a very good facsimile of these by
putting the frank (pierced, of course) on a bun in the microwave for a
couple of minutes. (You can wrap it in wax paper or a paper towel.)

I am officially copying this entire thread and everyone's
post in it to a file in MSW. If nobody minds. I wouldn't
be sharing it with anybody else but me.

Maury deserves some kind of medal for thinking of using
this as a thread topic. This has been like the "homecoming"

Oh, I so agree! Reading everyone's travel favorites and fantasies has been
both exhilerating and mellowing at the same time. A great way to start the
summer (and exorcise the ghost of a long and often snarly a.f. winter).

Have you ever tried the frozen "Super Pretzels?" (Something like that)
They're not nearly a facsimile of the real thing, but they're chewy, and
they come with kosker salt to sprinkle on them and really taste very
good. They take about 8 minutes in the oven (or toaster oven.)

Yep. Those particular episodes happened a long time ago, and seem
more incredible now than they did at the time.

The "IRA thing" happened during a particularly violent period of
IRA-attributed bombings in London. My cousin from Belfast was a
fashion designer working in London at the time, and we spent a
lovely day shopping in all her favorite haunts. (Heaven.) The next
day, while I took a day trip to Oxford, she dropped off a package at
my hotel (candies for my grandfather that he couldn't get in the
States.) No problem. I arrived at Heathrow the day after, and was
pegged at the door, hauled off, searched, my luggage examined. Aha!
The package, wrapped in plain brown paper, was ripped open to
reveal....candy. The guards then doggedly tore apart my luggage.
Alas, nothing but dirty clothes and a few souvenirs. Without an
apology, they taped the tattered remains of my suitcase back
together and let me leave the country. It seems that a) I fit the
profile of some known terrorist (huh?) and b) the lovely chaps at
the Savoy had alerted the authorities that someone with a
"suspicious" accent had left an unmarked package for me. One would
think they'd have nabbed me at the hotel, but who knows what they
were thinking. (I didn't return to London for a few years after
that, for obvious reasons. And my cousin was more than a bit shaken
to think she'd been a suspected "accomplice!")

About six months before that, I was at a restaurant in Geneva. The
owner, evidently a friend of Ted's, asked me if I would like to go
to a party on the yacht Ted had chartered. (TK was between marriages
and notoriously womanizing...even though he had started his descent
into resembling a bloated toad.) Ted Kennedy? Disgusting. Ted
Kennedy+party+water? Not a good combination. No thanks. (Though it
would've made a good chapter in the memoirs, no doubt.) I went
shopping instead. Much more satisfying!

Floret EDT, Kiehl's Creme De Corps body lotion, Tweezermans, Aveda Lip Saver
lip balm, Shu lash curler, Anastasia brow pencil, Sage skincare, & Stila
shadows.

-Favorite Hotel:

Believe it or not, I rarely stay in hotels when I take vacations (except when
I'm in Vegas, where it's Bellagio all the way). I have family or friends in
every destination from NYC to Jamaica to Korea, so their homes are like
makeshift hotels for moi. It's a lot more convenient, personal, and
economical! And as silly as it may sound, I visit (not stay at) many local
hotels in L.A.. Of those my favorites are The Peninsula in Beverly Hills and
The Mondrian in West Hollywood. The Standard is very interesting, but it
creeps me out for whatever reason.

-Books to Pack This Summer:

In the Absence of Sun by Helie Lee, and I'd also like to pick up Making Faces
by Kevyn Aucoin because I've always wanted it and it'll be fun to "experiment"
this summer.

-Sports She'll Play:

Besides swimming and *walking*, I don't normally do sports when I'm traveling
abroad. However, if I did ever have the chance, I'd love to go ice skating,
kayaking, or play a good game of badminton in some far off land. Now that
would be fun!

-Favorite Beauty Treatment:

While I love manicures and pedicures, I also love to (gasp) get waxed! I know
it's not the most indulgent thing out there, but for me it's quite necessary
and always leaves me feeling smooth and glowing. I can always tolerate
temporary pain, so even the quick pulls don't bother me. :)

-Favorite Cultural Excursion:

Like most everyone else, I love museums and galleries. Historical landmarks,
downtown areas, movie theaters, and marketplaces are must-visits as well.

-Dream Traveling Companions:

My SO, family, friends, and heck, even my dog.

-Favorite Restaurant:

Tiny sushi bars in Tokyo, The Cotton Club in Harlem, Serendipity in NYC, and
Korean dessert shops in Seoul.

-Best Souvenirs:

All the wonderful and memorable photographs that I take.

-Most Unforgettable Experience:

That's a hard one...

-Dream Destination:

Wow, probably everywhere and anywhere that I haven't been to yet.

-CDs She Can't Leave Home Without:

-Favorite Shop:

The 100 Yen store in Japan, Takashimaya in NY and Japan, Sanrio stores, and all
the cute little Asian accessory places in Japan and Korea.

-Vacation Diet:

I don't eat less food, only more food when I'm on vacation. So my "diet" would
consist of everything I wanted to eat.

-How Travel Inspires Her:

Traveling always makes me feel a whole heck of a lot better, even if I happen
to be in the crappiest of moods. I get to relax and see some of the most
beautiful and interesting places on Earth, and that just makes me feel so lucky

haha! I can relate. My real favorite is Denny's, and my second favorite is
Arby's!

If I have to go more highbrow, I'd say my favorite may be Churascaria
Plataforma on W. 49th in NYC. It's one of those Brazilian steakhouses,
where they present 14 types of meat at your table, and you gorge yourself
until you're ready to drop. Not for vegetarians! I love this place, but
it's probably for the best that I can only go once a year or so.

you'd think, "Houseboat? Cool!", I woke up in the middle of the
night, turned on the light and screamed when I saw large spiders on
the wall by our bed. I counted 20, just laying (or crawling slowly)
on the wall like live wallpaper. I could not get my bag packed fast
enough.

I buy 5 issues of whatever's current in the airport bookstore before
boarding the plane.

Walking, maybe swimming...I'll kayak if there are whales to be seen or
parasail if it could be as breathtaking as it was in the Cayman

Pedicure at the Aquae Sulis Spa at the JW Marriott Las Vegas.
Indulgent, and comparatively inexpensive, actually!

I like museums, my husband likes baseball games...so he comes to a
museum with me and I go to a baseball game with him, and we both learn
a little more about each other and our interests.

Actually, though it feels like sacrilege to say, I'd like to take a
trip, a big trip, by myself sometime. I enjoy traveling with my
family and friends, but it'd be fun to be left totally to my own
devices in a place that requires thought to navigate.

The best meals I've ever had when traveling were the breakfasts at
Sonja's by the Sea in Victoria, BC. Sonja reminded me of Julia Child;
my husband reminded her of her son, so she fixed us extra-special
breakfasts. Her oatmeal alone was worthy of any gourmet.

I'm with Maurey on this. But I also go for the cheesy mugs and
magnets.

> Most Unforgettable Experience:
A daytrip from Prague to Theresienstadt concentration camp on a bus
with about 20 other tourists...the trip was narrated by a dignified
retired engineer who described his experiences as a young teen at this
camp. At the end of the day, worn after hearing so many of his
first-hand accounts, yet encouraged to be in the presence of someone
with such a resilient spirt, someone asked him why he chose to
re-enact such grueling experiences to complete strangers three times a
week. He replied, "To make sure future generations never forget what
happened."

On a lighter note: walking back to our lodging with a big group of
friends on the Kurfurstendamm in Berlin, I noticed a basement doorway
that emitted a very eerie red glow. I was told that were I to descend
the stone staircase to that doorway, the tuxedo-clad doorman would ask
me with an utterly straight face, "Will you be dining tonight,
fraulein? Or will you be having sex?" It just struck me as *so*
Berlin.

I am really proud of you! I've only done that twice in my entire life
and I am Finnish :-) On the other hand I know people who jump in the
hole in the ice every morning during winter. It keep s them healthy

Top Three Items in Her Suitcase:
My favorite black sweater, my favorite jeans, and at least one stuffed rabbit.

Always in Her Beauty Bag:

Maybelline Windsor Rose lippie, Great Lash Mascara in Brown, Olay Daily Renewal
Cleanser. All other items subject to change.

Favorite Hotel:
I don't have one. Although the Pan Pacific in San Diego was pretty cool. Nice
big bathrooms and awesome climate control, which to me is very important in a
hotel room.

Books to Pack This Summer:

Just one: I'm studying for my Ham Radio license, so I'll take the book with the
list of Level One questions and answers. :)

Sports She'll Play:
Badminton. But only if I find the perfect bra.

Favorite Beauty Treatment:
Nothing in particular. But a nice long soak in Batherapy fixes many things.

Favorite Cultural Excursion:
Anywhere with scenic overlooks. That's not cultural, but if I have to choose
between looking off of the top of a mountain or in a museum, the mountain wins.

Dream Travelling Companions:
My husband.

Favorite Restaurant:
Actually, she says quite sincerely, Denny's is consistent enough that I know it
will be good wherever I go.

Best Souvenirs;
Photographs. Postcards for postcard wars with best friend.

Most Unforgettable Experience:
Driving from San Jose to SF up Highway 280 on Memorial Day, 1991. That's when
my husband realized he loved me, and when we got back to his place, he
proposed.

Dream Destination:
Actually, I already live there. :) But I have friends in IL that I desperately
want to visit.

CDs She Can't Leave Home Without:

I made a mix CD of ambient music that I really like.

Favorite Shop:
Don't have one.

Vacation Diet:
Anything I've already tried, so I don't have any unpleasant digestive
surprises. Although I'm willing to try local odd ice cream. :-P

How Travel Inspires Her:
Generally, I love the changes in Nature from place to place. How one set of
hills varies from another, or how the air smells completely different in the
mountains than it does down here by the ocean. Travel makes me appreciate home,
but it also makes me realize what a nice world it can be.

I like unique hotels. I really enjoy the Mayfair in Miami. It has a

Having just returned from a too-short holiday, this is more of 'it did' than
'if I':

> Top Three Items in Her Suitcase:

Comfy black sandals (currently a pair of Clarks), zara tab-front low-rise
black stretchy tech fabric pants, simple tee (usually a v-neck petite
bateau)

> Always in Her Beauty Bag:

Nailclipper, tweezerman slanted tweezers, club monaco accent lipstick,
sunscreen for face and lips (currently origins silent treatment spf15 and
labello for lips), mac studio fix, facial moisturizer (currently borlind eye
cream) for dry spots, general facial moisturizer (currently aloe jelly),
aspirin for aspirin mask

> Favorite Hotel:
I favor inns or budget places, since I'm usually only at the place to sleep.
For the past trip, it was ryokan sakura in tokyo (I think).

> Books to Pack This Summer:

Besides the obligatory guide books, I ended up reading: contact, life on the
mississippi by mark twain, 2001.

> Sports She'll Play:
Lots of walking.

> Favorite Beauty Treatment:
Aspirin mask to make face feel smooth.

> Favorite Cultural Excursion:
Food.

> Dream Travelling Companions:
My SO since his schedule is less flexible than mine.

> Favorite Restaurant:
One?!? Off the top of my head, a hole-in-the-wall seafood place in toronto
chinatown.

> Best Souvenirs:
Small stuff.

> Most Unforgettable Experience:
Going to france w/ SO. when we get to the airport 45min before the flight
leaves, he realizes that he left his plane ticket and rail pass at home.
[smacks forehead]

> Dream Destination:
Don't have one currently.

> Vacation Diet:
Usually lots of bread and water (literally).

> How Travel Inspires Her:
It's always nice to experience a non-american way of life, but I still
prefer the american life b/c it's what I'm used to.
