From the March Issue and their choice examples:

1. Vibrant nail polish: Max Factor Bombshell Blue or VS Violet Vibe

2. Tender blue shadow: L'Oreal sky blue "brush shadow over lids for a
pretty, clean look"

3, Pastel pencil: Lauder Turquoise eye pencil "define upper lash line with
this eye opener"

4. Tinted gloss -Px Tranquil - "leave your dark lipsticks in the bag this
spring"

5. Face bronzer - Trucco Yang Duo Blush - "fake a healthy flush"

I think their maybe some other/better products to accomplish these ends for
"The Spring Look". Suggestions? rjudith

for the tender blue shadow, i like Lancome's Air better than the L'Oreal Sky
Blue.

This may sound stupid, but I really do believe that they pick a color each
month, and then suggest whatever new products happen to be that color.

I have noticed this trend often! One month everything will be in blue
packaging/color, the next it will be pink, red, etc! Also, the products of the
month tend to be new launches or old standards from major contributing
advertisers.

I'm gonna go pick up the new Elle and Mademoiselle (I swear, all a magazine has
to do is advertise one of our favorite alt.fashion businesses and their
circulation goes up!!). If I see anything groovy, I'll post.
