What's the best way to touch up make-up on dry areas of the face? Re-
moisturize and then touch-up?

My skin tends to get very dry around the mouth and nose, and so towards
the end of the day when I have to touch-up I'm always a bit hesitant to
touch those areas becasue I don't want them to flake.

The best way to do this is to mix a smidgen of moisturizer
with the product, I'm assuming here that it's concealer. I'd
recommend either:

1) Putting a pearl size drop of your most lightweight moisturizer
in the palm of your hand & lightly dabbing an ultra-thin
amount on the area - then proceed to retouch about 20 seconds
afterwards (so the moisturizer settles in & smearing won't happen).

2) Take a concealer brush (probably a flat/wide one is best in this
case) and mix an ultra-small drop of concealer (moisturizing
formula) with same lightweight moisturizer (2:1 ration with
moisturizer as the one) - spreading them together with your
brush & then applying (the thinner the better)

3) Spraying some Evian on before retouching -- probably the easiest.

4) A favorite a.f. tip I picked up - use Max Factor's Pan Stick
as a touch-up concealer & pat on with your fingers -- it
works absolute wonders, takes less than 2 seconds and NEVER
flakes dry areas!!

Hope these random thoughts help :)
