If it is made of leather, it is probably marked/labeled as such somewhere
inside the bag. (Leather doesn't always smell like a cow and it definitely
doesn't have to be soft.) DKNY is Donna Karan's less expensive line. Even
in her designer line, she isn't obligated to use real leather; she can use
vinyl or whatever other mateials she chooses.

Hi, I wanted to know it it is a genuine DKNY. I dont mind if it isnt leather
as long as it is genuine. My friend said it cant be DKNY as it isnt leather.
Are there any signs to tell if it is a genuine DKNY bag?
Thanks for your help
If the seller has good feedback, I would assume she was truthful about the
item. The bottom line, for ebay or any other purchase for that matter, is
that you should never pay more than you are comfortable spending on an item.
It gets complicated when you are paying for a name because it *is* so hard
to tell if the item is genuine.
I hope you get pleasure out of the bag and that you don't fret too much
about the possibility of it being a knock-off.

Or, given the usual way the industry works, whatever other material
the Far Eastern subcontractor found on the slow boat to China.
