Star Trek, Obsidian Order Operative.
Star Wars, Stormtrooper.

Thinking also of 'Purple Sleeves' on Space 1999. [Equivalent of Trek Red
Shirt].
BTW, why is an obsisian order op any higher risk job than any other
covert/secret ploiceman [Section 31, Tal'Shiar, etc]?

It seemed like everyone was out to get them, even their own side. Tal
is up there too, or Romulan Navy Commander, as Tal always seemed ot be
out to get their own Fleet Officers.

Another High Risk job might be Maquis, they got wiped out pretty bad
in DS9.
