- for the morning after. It consists (mainly?) of Worcester sauce (for
colour), raw egg (nutrition), and red pepper (bite).
Thus, as narrated in "Jeeves takes charge", in book "Carry on, Jeeves";
the first story in a book of short stories. It is how Jeeves came into
Bertie Wooster's employ.
The question is - does it actually work? Or is it fiction?

In the TV series, Jeeves also appears to add a white spirit [vodka?].
As to whether it works, it takes a bit of courage to try it, I think.

It would be pretty to think so (to quote a well-known American
writer), but, sadly, the only cure for a hangover is time.
