More Japanese Artwork!!

For those of you who enjoyed the Japanese renditions of Rogue Squadron
from the novels published over there, I've come back with another
gallery. I now have the covers (with all new art) and the full pages
from which the earlier art was taken from on display at my website
DownTime. That page is

I also took some time this holiday season to write up about 15 more
pilot profiles with characters from both the TIE Fighter and X-wing
games for those of you looking to read up on pilots you may not even

Character ID's from the Japanese novels - a lot of these are fairly
obvious - but some of them could be tricky to get if you can't read
katakana.

Can anyone help me out on this one? I'm afraid I missed this particular
post on AFW. You know with all the talk by the FLYGIRLS it's easy to miss.

Basically, what did the Japanese release. A manga adaptation of the novels?

Thanks in advance for my stupid question. You can blame the Flygirls on
that ;>

Nick was simply breaking down the charcter profile pages I posted to my
website, DownTime the pilots lounge, and identifying each character
individually. Good thinking considering the actual pages all identify
the characters in Japanese. The new gallery contains the covers, each
book was broken down into 2 volumes, hence the 8 new covers; and the
profile pages included in them (without repeating previous versions).

I did break down the character individually and remove the Japanese
text in the other Japanese gallery in DownTime's "Art Files" link. Or
you can all just refer to Nick excellent breakdown posted two rpelies
up from this one. :-)
