Hi all...just me, your friendly neighborhood newbie *chuckles and waves*
Wanted to introduce myself a bit and just well say hiya. I'm Megan. I'm a
huge SW nut...imagine that heh. Writer, movie fan, computer nerd, etc.
Whereas I absolutely adore Wedge I'm more of a Janson freak. *straps on her
fire-proof vest to hide from impending flaming* Anyway...hi *grins*

Well hello there Pecan, and congratulations on the unusual name. We love
Janson, so don't worry about being flamed.
-=Looks meaningfully at Prophet Kristy, and says "Where's the flipping
FAQ?"=-
Please, take one of your newbie gifts, a voucher for a free go on my X-Wing
simulator, redeemable whenever you want. Various other greeters will be
around soon to fulfill your quota of Ewok products, and Emily will want to
talk to you about whether or not you'd like to rent yourself a backrub
Wes...

Have fun,
Mike

Hi Megan,

Welcome to AFW, always glad to have more Janson fans aboard! :)
Just out of curiosity, is it movie Wes or x-wing novels Wes that you are
drawn to? hehee
I have to admit it was all Aaron's fault that I became such a Wes freak
(thanks Aaron!)
So, grab a chair, or an ewok to sit on and jump on in. :)

Shanon-

Yet another post to my same string. I'm really on a roll now huh? Anyway,
yeah it's all Aaron's fault I'm addicted to Wes. (not that I'm complaining
mind you). I'd read about him in HTE and such but it wasn't until the
Wraiths that I became obsessed. Favorite one by far is SOA. I've never
laughed so hard at a book in my entire life. After that I was hooked. The
best part about all of it is that in this SW:RPG I play, I get to be Wes.
It's entirely too much fun and everyone says I make the best Janson of all
the people who've tried so far. Take -that- Aaron Allston. *snickers* Anyway
enough rambling. Friendly place, I talk too much here heh.

Wow, quick answer :)
SoA rocks!
So you're into RPG too? Coolies, I have a group that plays online, while no
one plays 'established' characters, our GM has brought Wes in a few times-
mostly in drag (disguise), just for the humor of it. ;)
I'm sure he doesn't mind though, hehehe. Do you play online or irl? (I miss
irl rpg'ing <pout>)
Just a quick plug- if you like Janson fanfic, we have a few up at the
WEBsite. :)

What can I say? I'm at work so I have nothing better to do. *innocent
whistle* Yeah I only RP online anymore. I never actually did tabletop for
SW...did for WoD (world of darkness) a few times. It's always just been
online. Very cool thing, not dice-based. *nod* Anyone interested in trying
their hand at it should lemme know. There's no dice or stats or all that
mumbojumbo, just pure writing and character development. I've been at it
almost 4 years now. I have to admit my storyline with Wes is totally off the
wall compared to the "canon" version but it amuses me *lol* I'll have to go
read your page in more detail Shan, I already went to the site and was
reading the Holy Grail ones hehe. Oh and hey I'm adventurous, if anyone
wants my ICQ number it's 103485264

We started RPing 'live', but then started online with another group and it's

The way I understand it, the Republicans are on the almost-loony way-over-there
right of American politics, and the Democrats are the
not-quite-so-right-wing-as-the-Republicans part of American politics.

And then, I guess, there's ex-professional wrestlers. :).

Then again, I'll bet Australian politics confuse the hell out of
Americans. Because over here, the Liberals are the conservatives and
the Democrats are the minor, left-wing third-party. :)
