Ok, I've just written a story on my website, a young man's word, about the past
of Wes Janson. However, another young Rogue comes to mind when I think of
hidden pasts.
What IS the deal with Hobbie? Where did he come from, faimly wise? anyone
know any official data? anyone want to speculate?
-=smiles=- if we can figure out something good, maybe I can piece the stuff
together and make another story on my website with this information.

Born on Raltiir. He was in the Academy with Biggs, defected with the
Rand Ecliptic at the same time as Biggs. That's about all I know.

"RTF*"
He's a clutz? *heh*
-Vickie
In proper Yiddish, that's "klutz"
--scifantasy
"RTF*"
But I'm not Yiddish. *g*
I'd say that Hobbie is probably either middle child or youngest of a few boys.
-Vickie
In proper English it is too (and I've checked in the online OED :-)... from
the same OHG root as 'clot'...

As for Raltiir, that's featured in the NPR Radio Dramatization of ANH,
as I recall, if you want a clearer picture of what sort of world it
is...

Hm. I'd say probably middle. Wes, on the other hand, could certainly be
a baby-of-the-family. (They're the ones that tend never to grow up,
after all. :-)
Now I'm gonna have to go dig out my old child psych notes to reread the
bit about birth order...
HOw's that for being a strange childhood life?

May be strange but it makes for a damn good fanfic.
As well as finding the kidnapped sister.
