It looks like The Almighty Guardians Of The Sacred Narrow-Mindedness Of The
Typical Western Fans Of Anime

(read: Rob Kelk, The Eternal Lost Lurker, 5parrow,
David Johnston, The Wanderer, Kevin TRAINOR A$$hole, Tolaris,
et coetera,)

did "forget" to call you troll.

Well, I for one didn't see the original post. (My anime-newsgroup
reading is not yet that widespread.)

And I find myself... somewhat startled... to be counted among such
company after less than two months of posting here...

The initial post from "TL" and the location of the EVA FAQ it refers to is
from the Japan.anime.evangelion newsgroup.
"2501" just decided to troll it over to the RAAM, RAAF, and AFU newsgroups
to take a cheap shot at "The Almighty Guardians," who unlike him/her have a
brain and a life.

BTW, here is that initial post.

I guess I should have but the answer from the FAQ here as well.
Here it is"

4.3.9 Why is Shinji strangling Asuka at the end?
------------------------------------------
We don't know how long either of them were there on the beach, we
don't know how long Shinji may have been alone in the world, and
we don't really know if Asuka just happened to materialize during
that scene, or if she had returned sometime earlier. At any rate,
if Shinji returned to an empty world, even if for a few days, the
feeling of being the only person left in the world can be a very
disturbing though. With Shinji, that thought would be even more
disturbing, especially if he began to blame himself for TI. We've
seen how fragile both Shinji's and Asuka's psyches can be. It may
not take much to push Shinji over the edge, into a state of mild
psychosis. Anno does give some clues that Shinji had been back on
Earth for some time, but there's no solid evidence to show how
long he'd been there. And we don't see Asuka return per se, so
she may have been with Shinji for some time.

This is from the EVA movie, not anime.

Yeah, I suppose, but that would mean admitting that I cared what it thought of
me. OTOH, it's kind of cool to be considered on a par with Rob Kelk and ELL,
even by an obviously psychotic waste of genetic material like GFBad Karma. A
case of the broken clock being right twice a day, I guess.

She probably thinks she's leet for using dollar signs instead of the letter "s".

Yes, but that would mean capitulating to the patriarchal American hacker
cultural paradigm, and she can't have that, can she? XD
