Hi all.. I don 't know if this has been mentioned before or even if it is
really true... so I'd like your opinion / knowledge etc.

My sister-in-law lives in Ireland, and tells me that Bono and one of the
girls from the Corrs (I dont know which one) are having an affair, and that
it is quite common knowledge. IS this true? is it common knowledge and I
have been living in the dark? Or is she wrong. My brother insists that it is
just a case of mistaken identity, that it is really his wife not the Corrs
girl.. lol.. it is getting us both quite flustered so any thing you know
about this would be appreciated.

This has been going around since U2 asked the corrs to fill in the support
gap at Miami Elevation when PJ Harvey fell sick wayyyy back in March.

Of course it is completely cock & bull.

I think the last time Bono was reportedly having an "affair" with some woman
he was seen hanging about with allot, He wanted to stop seeing the woman
till Ali told him not to be such a woss (or something like that, im sure the
girls on the NG know this story better than me) and he should be seen with
this woman more often which i think included a public fashion show.

Ali seems like a tough woman, one not to be crossed!!

It's Andrea Corr the singer. They went to a lot of public events together and
she does look like a younger Ali (so maybe Bono is just confused). Both deny
anything beyond a good friendship. So take their word for it or don't.

I'd say its a case of mistaken identity on someone's part....they probably
just assumed it weren't possible for Bono to have such an attractive wife,
and mistook her for one of the Corrs.....

The woman was Christy Turlington. He told Ali he would stop hanging
around her but Ali told him he was a sap if he let the media dictate his
life. This story was in "u2 at the end of the world" which by he way is
an awesome book. The rumor about andrea corr started last year and Bono
was quite upset at the time.
