Post-75 Ford 4100 identification

Hi there, I have a post 75 Ford tractor, with 4100 decals that I'm
trying to identify. I know it's post '75 because it has the later model
steering.
Can anyone help me decode the serial numbers, please?:
KA214C
7F16
B308066*

They aren't the same format as the pre-75 one that are on numerous sites
on the web,

Aren't all 4100's post 1975? I thought that they started making them
in 1975 and stopped in 1981. The serial # should be on the right front
of the transmission. The # should start with the letter C.

I think the ones starting with a C are made in USA while those starting
with a B are Basildon, UK made.
My local dealers parts book shows steering components pre-75 that are
different to mine, but you may very well be correct and they were for
other 4xxx models.
These numbers were taken from the transmission, just rear of the starter
motor and echo those stamped on the plate mounted under the bonnet.
