Just getting this post in before we shut down for repairs that may last
the better part of the week. Although this one woman as Fox who has been
disrupting our IRC-casts has been stopped, she has done enough damage that
necessiates taking our server far, here in Hamar, Norway, off line and
reinstalling the operating system on our equipment. We are hoping to be
back online by Wendesday or Thursday.
Other news stories we are following include yet another attempt to make
US laws apply overseas. Federal prosecutors are currently trying to extradite
on Australian on piracy charges, despite that fact that all his crimes were
committed in Australia
If Hew Raymond Griffiths is extradited and convicted, it could set a
precedent that could go BEYOND online piracy. The USA would have the right
to make ANY laws, regarding the Net, apply worldwide. Becuase his crimes were
committed in Australia, he should be prosecuted in Australia. The Bush
Administration has decided that U.S. laws apply all over the world, and is
determined to force people worldwide to bow down to U.S. laws.
For example, anyone who criticises the U.S. government, in violation of
the Alien and Sedition Acts of 1799 could be subject to prosecution in the
United States REGARDLESS of where they live and REGARDLESS of what citizenship
they hold. A lot of Canadians who have critised U.S. policies, particularly
in regards to Iraq and Cuba, could be subject to U.S. prosecution, if this
latest attempt to make U.S. laws apply abroad should be successfull.
And what if, say, Congress ever does pass a law against Internet profanity
that gets past the Supreme Court? Certain New Zelaanders and Canadians who
use profanity in alt.skate.figure could be prosecuted. The U.S. would have
the legal precedent to push for their extradition to stand trial in the USA.
The Bush Administration will stop at NOTHING to make American laws apply
outside the USA. They want to force American laws on the rest of the world.

Hawaii is an former state of Australia, one of four states/territories
that seceded from Australia during after the second world war. Christmas
Island, New Guinea, Hawaii, and the Cocos Islands seceded from Australia
after WWII. Hawaii has been indepdendent since 1958.
When I attended high school in America, I was TOLD this by a teacher
who was teaching a British Literature/History class. The teacher was an
Englishman, and quite proud of it, and he TOLD us that Hawaii is a former
British colony, that became part of Australia in 1901, when Australia
gained independence from Britain, and then seceded in 1958 and became
its own nation.

Kuwait IS hosting 2005 Worlds at the Kowait Towers ice arena, in
Kuwait City. That could change, however. The fascistic Bush Administration
is now trying to set up an excuse to invace Syria, and if that happens,
there will be total war in the Mideast.
What has happend is that the assassination of a Hamas leader last week
was a coordinated effort between Israel and the USA to attempt to provoke
Syria into doing something, such as attack Israel, that would give Bush
an excuse to invade Syria. If this happens, there will be TOTAL WAR in
the Mideast, which would force the cancellation or relocation of 2005 Worlds.
This could be the last straw that starts WWIII. Russia is an ally of
Syria, and has been for more than 40 years. That last time there was a
possibility of a war in Syria, in 1973, the U.S. went on high alert for a
possible war with Russia. Next to the Cuban Missile Crisis, that was the
closest that the world had come to nuclear conflict.

And by the way, here are the next three hosts of North Americans
2005 January 9-15 Portland, Oregon
2006 TBA Managua, Nicaragua
2007 January 21-27 Ciuadad Obregon
Ciudad Obregon is only about 150 miles from Hermosillo, site
of the 1993 North Americans, and where the phony dress opening
with TOnya Harding took place. I was in Hermosillo in 1993, and
I dont care WHAT the rabid Tonyaphiles say, the dress-opening
incident was phony.
The writing was on the wall then that Tonya might pull
something at 1994 North Americans in Detroit. We all know now
that Tonya had Nancy whacked at the 1994 North Americans.
Tonya should be lucky they were held in the USA. Havana was
a contender for 1994 North Americans. Had they been in Havana
in 1994, and the same plot pulled off there, Tonya could have
been executed by firing squad, under Cuban law, as this would
have been considered a terrorist act under Cuban law. Harding,
Stant, Ekhardt, and Gilloooly would likely have been executed
by now, has the same crime been pepetrated in Cuba.
Its not very well known, but the 1903 extradition treaty
between Cuba and the USA is still in force, despite the fact
that Cuba and the USA do not have dimplomatic relations. It
is likly that had this crime been perpetrated in Cuba, that
the United States probably would have handed Tonya, and her
cohorts, over to the Cuban authorities for trial, and would
have granted Nancy Kerrigan permission to travel to Cuba to
testify against Tonya.
