I heard something on the TV-news about the possibility of Tonya Harding coming
back from the Olympics and posing for Playboy? Can anyone confirm this?

And if it's true, why?

What I read was a story about all the endorsement/opportunities
Nancy Kerrigan had, and that only Playboy had been in contact with Tonya
Harding.

Can you say $1,000,000? I knew that you could. I don't know how much they
offered, but let's face it, when you're implicated in a scandal like this one,
you're not going to exactly be raking in the endorsements (isn't the running
joke that she's the new spokeswoman for The Club?), and they ridiculous amount
of quick cash PB or Penthouse offerers someone in the news to strip down is
often tempting. Look at Shannon Doherty- She knew that she was gonna be
exposing all in a movie to be released later this year, so why not jump at the
offer? She didn't show anything she's not gonna anyway, and she probably got
at least a quarter mil for what I heard was maybe three whole pages...

Donno, but I think Nancy's a babe. The movie will be made (this is true)
by CBS (or is it NBC?). I hate those movies, it seems like every time
something happens to a celebrity a movie is made about him/her. I wonder
if a Bobbit movie is going to be made? Lesse, who next? How about Jennie
Garth off 90210? Now there's a looker! Somebody assault her! :>

God, no!

Remember Jessica Hahn? Sleaze promoting sleaze.

Tonya Harding would have to pay me to look at her fat butt!

Well, I'v heard it was $250,000 - $500,000. But I think thats a bargen
for PB. It this thing pans through, they'll recoup much more than that
just on regular business (along with the shock appeal on top of that).

Yep, $250,000 offered for her to show off her butt and thighs, and nice
vision at that. It's the best she can do, what company would pay her for
endorsements- RAID insecticide!

She appears so guilty and the the FBI is just getting their case lock-tite
before they bring her charges forward, and strip her of her 6th place finish
next week!

I read in today's paper that the report was false.

>And if it's true, why?

Why not??? LaToya Jackson did it. So did Jessica Hahn.
It's not as if Miss Harding will have much of a carear in endorsements
after this (except, perhaps, for golf clubs ;-) ).
I wonder what they'd pay her?

What can I say... I've got a thing for evil, blond, psycotic
women. That's why I subscribed to this newsgroup. ;-)

Well, it was reported on the news that Tonya received no ($0.00) offers
for her story. Playboy, however, was there to offer $250,000 for rights
to a photo session.

Not bad for the runner's up take, eh?
