ANONYMOUS DEMONIC MEDIA SERVICES UNER NEW OWNERSHIP
COOBER PEDY, S.A. (ADMS) - Anonymous Demonic Media Services has now come
under new ownsership and is now based in Coober Pedy, South Australia. One of the biggest
conglomerates in South Australia, Hutchinson Enterprises, has bought this E-zine, and we
are now under new ownership.
The new owners intend to keep this the BEST E-zine on the planet, as far as figure
skating goes. And Coober Pedy does have a tie-in to figure skating history. 6-time Canadian
Mens champion Elvas Stojko hails from here in Coober Pedy. Elvas, during his entire
amateur career used to train about 7 hours drive from here, in Port Augusta.
The E-zine’s name change from Demonizer to Midnight Demon was made a few weeks
ago ahead of the change. And this e-zine will continue its tradition of being the BEST E-zine
on the planet, BAR NONE. It is the new owners that made the decision to go with HTML
formatted postings to Usenet.
Coober Pedy is best known as a mining town where a lot of minerals, mostly opals
are mined from here. This is also a very ethnically diverse city. There are a lot of immigrants
here, and some 45 nationalities are represented.
Austrians and Germans make up a lot of the population here, and Coober Pedy has a tie
to California government. Arnold Shwarzenegger was born in Coober Pedy to Austrian
immigrant parents.
Coober Pedy will be the new home of Anonymous Demonic Media Services.
CUBAN COUPLE WINS NORTH AMERICAN DANCE TITLE
MONTEGO BAY, Jamaica (ADMS) – The Cuban couple of Tanith Arriaga Belbin and
Benjamin Nuñez Agosto has won the North American championship in ice dancing. They
win their first dance title here.
The won after the Americans Lange and Tcherneyshev were forced to withdraw after
Lang’s Achilles tendon started to bother her. This allowed the Cuban couple to score
their first win here at North Americans. The also won the gold in the ice dancing
competition at Skate America, last October. They cold be potential medallists at Worlds
and Olympics.
Both Belbin and Agosto hail from Havana, and train at the Ciudad Deportiva, in Havana..
They placed 7th in last year’s Worlds, and could potentially go higher this year. For the medals
that Cuba has won in ladies, in the past, they have rarely won in other disciplines. There was
one Cuban-born pairs couple, Brasur and Eisler, who won the world championship for the
United States, and won the silver medal at the Olympics, for the USA, in 1994.
The other two spots on the podium were occupied by Americans. Gregory and Petrukhov
win the silver and Rabnowitz and Mitchell win the bronze medal here in Montego Bay. The
couple from Jamaica,. the host country here, Manon and O’Meara finish 6th here in Montego
Bay. One Cuban-born couple, on the American team, the Munanas, finished in 10th
place.

BARBADOS SKATER WINS MENS NORTH AMERICAN TITLE
MONTEGO BAY, Jamaica (ADMS) – In one of the biggest surprises yet at the North
American Figure Skating Championships, Johnny Wehr of Barbados has won the North
American title. This is one of the most unexpected results ever.
Wehr completed 8 triples, more than any of the other skaters in the field to get seven
5.9s in the technical merit, and a 6.0 in the artistic score. Only two other skaters in history
have ever received 6.0 scores in a U.S. nationals or North Americans. Bryan Boitano
did it in 1988, and Michelle Kwan did it in 1998.
As far as skating goes, Wehr could be the next skating sensation from the Carribbean
region. It can be said that Wehr has the skater of his life here in Montego Bay.. Wehr
could be a potential world champion.
The second place finisher is the three time North American champion Michael Weiss,
had an incredible free skate to junp from fourth to second place. He one of his best skates
ever. Weiss is one of those you do not count out. Weiss still has the potential to be a
world champion someday.
The bronze medallist is Mathieu Savoie of Dominica. Savoie has medalled, in the past
at North Americans, and will represent Dominica at Worlds, this coming March, in Dortmund,
Germany..
The free skate this year was not like the crazy free skate last year, which produced all kinds
of crazy results. Last year was the weirdest mens free skate on record. This year we had a lot
of solid performances. The U.S. will be sending one in the mens division, and that will be
Michael Weiss.

KWAN WINS NINTH NORTH AMERICAN TITLE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
MONTEGO BAY, Jamaica (ADMS) – Michelle Kwan is now further into the history
Books. Michelle has now won her NINTH North American title.
Michelle did it in grand style here in Montego Bay, skating a dazzling and spectactular
Performance that earned seven 6.0s from the the judges. Her program was one of her best ever.
It was her best, in fact, since she won the 1998 North American title. Here are Kwan’s scores
from the judges:
Technical 5.9 5.9 5.9 5.9 5.8 5.8 5.8 5.9 5.8
Artistic 6.0 6.0 6.0 6.0 6.0 5.9 6.0 5.9 6.0
Country USA JAM BRB CUB CYM MTQ BAH DCA ARU
Kwan received a first place ranking from all nine judges, and her program deserved
it. Her program was just absolutely stupendous here at the North Americans, and her marks
reflected it. Her performance was absolutely OUTSTANDING here at the North American
Championships. She has come back rather nicely, after being practically finished at the
2002 Olympics. Even this E-zine did not think Kwan would last this long.
Contrary to what the rabid Tonyaphiles think, this is Michelle Kwan’s NINTH
North American title. What the Tonyaphiles refuse to recognise, a decade later, is that
the 1994 title that was won by Tonya, went to Michelle, by default, when Tonya was stripped
of the title.
Sasha Cohen had a good skate as well, earning one 6.0 from the American judge on the
panel. Her program too was well deserving of the marks she got. Cohen, if she sticks around
after Michelle Kwan eventually leaves the sport, will be the next North American champion.
Kwan and Cohen are going to be on top at the North American Championships for a long
time. They have become the best skaters in the Americas, and possible the world. With Irina
Slutskaya possibly out for a while, It will likely be Kwan or Cohen who wins the world
Title. Either Michelle or Sasha could become America’s FIFTH ladies gold medallist,
two years from, in Turin. America has had four ladies Olympic skating champions so
far (Heiss,Fleming,Hamill,Lapinski). Michelle or Sasha could become number 5, and
likely will.

Look, Chuckie, you can keep saying this all you like, but it will never be
true. There are no reputable authorites to back this up.
The truth is that Kwan has never won ANY "North American" titles. That's
because North Americans were canned in 1971, long before Kwan was even born.
