Lies, all lies.
"When the armies of the Western Alliance marched up to the Black Gate, they
were guilty of making illegal aggressive war against a sovereign nation"

-not true. Mordor attacked first.

"a full signatory to the Court's original charter, Sauron is legally
entitled to bring charges before the Court, and the Court's decision will
be binding on Mr. Baggins, per the charter establishing the authority of
the Court over the entire world, whether the particular defendant lives in
a member country or not. The Shire has repeatedly refused to ratify a
proposal to join the Court"

-Sauron may have right, but since Shire did not ratify the charter, it does
not fall under Court's jurisdiction.

"'excessive incidental death, injury or damage' clause."

-let me see the bodies of those 'incidentaly dead'. There were only
soldiers in Gorgoroth, no civilians reported.

"Saruman had his own comments on the charges. "The swaggering little cock-
a-whoops cast me out, forcing me to live as a beggar wandering through the
wilderness of Middle Earth."

-rubbish. He was offered pardon, but refused it. Furthermore, _he_ started
war with Rohan, as can be proved by most of sources (although 'Orthanc
News' may think otherwise)

"Saruman then broke down in a touching display of emotion and was tended to
by his servant Wormtongue"

-by whom? Okay now, we all see these people are lying. Multiple witnesses
saw the death of this here Wormtongue person. You have to do better than
that to convince anyone.

"Baggins was defended in a public statement released by Gandalf the Grey, a
well-known right-wing wizard and co-conspirator of Baggins himself. "Frodo
made Middle-Earth safe for democracy and now this is how he's repaid - by
facing imprisonment because of a suit brought by the very enemies of
freedom!"

-oh boy, this is so poor line of defence...I'm afraid they could lose it
after all if they go on like this. Everybody knows this was the Gondor's
little war, in which Baggins was only one of the allies, but of course they
have to boast about 'freedom and democracy' for 'all Middle-Earth'...And
how many times do we have to express our gratitude for the little prat?
Get'em a better lawyer, I say...

"The suit was hailed as a major step forward in the re-establishment of the
authority of international law by progressives throughout the world"

-bollocks. With a good lawyer (better than Gandalf, at least), it's a lost
cause for Sauron and Saruman. They're too deep in their lies for it.
Of course, the fact that this accusation was raised, does not mean we
should abolish the idea of ICC...

Brilliant! "Sauron's legions (defensive in nature and made necessary by
the Lords of the West's aggression, according to Barad Dur
spokesmen)"......... :-)) very applicable.
