Aragorn... Hare Lip?

played Aragorn... but there is a definate scar line on his 'tasche!
Am I correct?... Does he have a Cleft Palate and Hare Lip?
I have a personal interest in whether he does or not... anyone know?

Oh please....The Man of My Dreams has no such thing. I have the LOTR movie
poster with a nice big pic of him and Viggo does not have a cleft palate. It
is a scar but does not look like the type to be a hare lip. I also have a
scar on my lip from a car accident I had several years ago.

I seem to recall Peter Jackson saying that Mortensen got one of his
teeth knocked out with a sword while making the movie. Maybe the scar is
fresh, and covered over in makeup.

I have one myself. Thats why I noticed that scar... and the obvious hare lip
of the guy who tore my ticket stub as I entered the theatre to see the film

There definately *is* a scar... and some other images of his facial shape
seems to hint towards some of the operations I've had (though it is
doubtless he is much better looking than I am)... It's actually a hard one
to call seeing this image!!!!
Wow!... How Cool and Weird!... this requires further investigation!
I know that Juaquin Pheonix (sp?) has a hare lip.. and thats really
interesting because he's overcome it so well!... what a ballsy actor!

Having downloaded the main image on that page and looked closer at it... I
don't think it's a hare lip.... The Scar is too clean.
and his lips are shaped too well... the scar obviously came later in life,
on an otherwise perfect face.

Well the films *have* been in production for some time... its *possible*...
but I think that he *may* have mentioned the huge gash on Mortensens uppper
lip as well!

Apparently it's the result of a youthful drinking accident wherein his lip
met some barbed wire. He mentions he was so drunk he didn't need
anaesthetic! LOL
