Actors for the LOTR Movie

I have been reading all of your posts as to who should play what character
in the books, interesting. Several of my friends and I sat around and made
up a list of who should be in the movie, and this is what we came up with:
Gandalf -Charles Bronson (any vigilante film)
Aragorn -Danny Divitto (throw mama from the train)
Legolis -Jack Nicklson (whitches of eastwick, shining)
Gimlli -The guy who plays Geourge Castansa on Sinfeild
Borimir -Dom Delauise (silence of the hams)
Elrond -Walter Mathow (odd couple)
Galadrial -Fran Drycher (The Nanny)
Frodo -Jay Lenno (the tonight show)
Sam -Al Pachino (scent of a woman)
Merry -Jon Henson (Talk soup)
Pippin -Adrian Paul (Highlander the tv series)
Gollum -Don Rickles (he would be perfect!!)
Witch King -Billy Crystal (city slickers)
Theoden -Jack Palance (City slickers)
BTW if I spelled any names wrong (People or characters) cut me some slack!

I have never seen a more ridiculus proposal for characters....If this was the
cast, I would set up a picket line to protest the film, it would be
terrible...Unless of couse this is what you meant by this post...
The only one I agree with remotley is the Mr. Palance for Theoden...but I see
him more as a Saruman, with that cool voice...
If this was a serious post, did you happen to take a bong hit of crack right
before posting it?

With Billy Crystal as the witch king, how could you possibly think I was
serious??? Danny Divito as Aragorn???? Wow, you's guy's need to loosin' up a
little!!!!! Mabey catch a movie or two over the weekend, go out for some
pizza, have an enima.....

ROTFL! I especially loved Fran Drescher as Galadriel-
I laughed my head off imagining her doing the mirror
scene with that voice and attitude...
