I resent that statement!! While under normal circumstances I would be doing
EXACTLY that.. :) I'm sorta involved right now, so I'm really just trying to be
a nice guy and uphold chivalry. Maybe getting intosomeone's pants is the only
thing that motivates you but I like to think that I rose above that when I got
out of high school.

What'd you have to go and say that for. Now I'm going to have "Good

And really, one oughtn't refer to her majesty in this fashion.
Coquette? yes, and a mighty fine one at that. But floozy?

I don't know what you mean by sucking.. I'm afraid I'm not that kind of guy..
And I cannot put the Chivalry thing down, I'm afraid it is as much a part of me

Gifts?!?! <<Eyebrows rise>> Please, Your Majesty, tell me more...:)

And not to correct Her Majesty, but I would remind Her that Her humble servant is a
Lord in Mannish lands at the least, rather than just a knight. Hence the title
below, which was bestowed to me by a human Queen whom I served previously.

Your faith in me is very pleasing Your Majesty. I must agree with you though, it
seems to me the only reason Arkady would think I was trying to "get in your pants"
would be because he himself was attempting to do so...

Well, I have my thoughts (I think you've been smokin' that Loco-Weed.. :) )
but I figured I would ask first.

I have to give you credit bringing the Barnyard thing in was a good move.. I
would never have thought of it... :)

I'm sorry but it has to be said. Chivalry died in the middle ages. However
there is no need to cry. In this post-ideological age there are still a few
who work in the background against those who would decive you and 'try to

I have no need to defend myself. No man is totally pure of heart and mind,
neither should he be. But once he understands what is right and what is
wrong, he must stand by his beliefs and defend THEM like he defends his own
life. I know that you understand such things, for you are wise tho you are

Nay, I say the reason not to cry is because there are still some of us alive who
work to uphold the ideals of chivalry. As long as such is true chivalry shall
not truly die.

All too true, and for that, I retract my question, noble sir. Though I do

I know that you understand such things, for you are wise tho you are

Yes, I do understand such things. They are not beyond my comprehension. If a
man decides to truly stand by his beliefs, then he *is* defending his own
life, for that is part of it. Gerard Manley Hopkins said, "What I do is me;
for that I came." To defend one's beliefs is to defend one's self. I too well
understand that, my friend.

Yeah but have you?

I am a (nearly) direct decendent from the Russian Czars, although as a
Republican (Not the crappy bigoted American kind) I dont make a big thing of
it.

Yeah. Maybe. Its pointless though. You seem to be upholding a representation
of sexism and to be suggesting that the extremely capable Rabbyt is unable
to deal with her own problems.

Correct. And, if you recall correctly, your willingness to stand by your
beliefs is what brought me to you in the first place--that email I sent
you complimenting on that willingness began our correspondence.

What do you mean? Sure it isn't the system rule for rule, but it's about as
close as you can get. Any economic or political system is mainly theoretical
and some changes have to be made to for it to work. The only exception I can
think of is the democracy of Athens, but I could be wrong.

Hey!! I'm an american republican and I am neither crappy nor bigoted!!!

Actually it is my understanding that I could be descended for the British royal
family in some convoluted way. I think it goes back to the crusades before you
get into the royal family though.

I never stated that she was unable to deal with her own problems. In fact, in a
previous message I suggested that she probably doesn't NEED us at all. My
chivalry is not handled in a sexist way. I defend woman as a service to the,
not because I think they are un capable of it. Hell, I have friends who I would
defend because of my chivalry but I know for a fact that they could probably
beat ME up.. (They're big strong women.. :) ) I only do what I do as a
courtesy.

I've been told that the first Lockwood was a Sheriff of Notinghamshire who
owned a large wood that only he could hunt in. There was a big wall around
it to keep other people out and that's how he got his name.

On a more realistic note, I'm afraid that that story was probably either
blatently made up or that my ancestor was the good sherif's gatekeeper or
something.
