so, why did you get Life?
what did you do for Life?

"i was a pitiful horrid
wreck in need of salvation"

yes but many are so in need.

"yeah but, i really am a nice
person on the inside, no foolin'"

and this is some of what the reader cannot
get entirely from a thorough analysis
of the scriptures.

it isn't up to us to maintain that
Esau -did- anything that warranted
Jacob's acceptance over his own.

-but- we may imply that God,
who searchs the hearts of man,
saw in Jacob, a valued commodity,
maybe the simple faith of a child,
and in Esau, a potential for ingratitude.

so, we can't necessarily look at Esau's
circumctance and suggest, "these are the
things which God doesn't like" and then
at Jacob's and say, "these are the things
which God prizes"

but we may suggest that Jacob was a
-potentially- nice person right off the bat
and that God, who sees thru the veil,
recognized this potential.

so, while it may seem, somewhat ambiguous
as to why Jacob was preferred, and/or conversely,
seem that "these -things- must be things God prizes"

we can suggest that the choice was not ambiguous
but also, not based entirely on Jacob's outward persona.

so then, there's this;

"God shows mercy to whom God will
and God hardens the heart
of whom God will"

but then this still need not be viewed
as an ambiguous decision on the part of God.

nor an unretractable decision.

meaning, so fine, God sees that one
is potentially nice and shows the mercy
of bringing forth this niceness.

it's still not like this person can bang
a drum and proclaim that they have earned a favor.

and also, say God perceived that one person was
predisposed to walking out on the balcony and
looking over Babylon and saying to himself,
"ain't i great, i done a good thing."?

isn't the purpose of turning this person
over to their own baser nature intended
to elicit the proper response?

that is, isn't the hardening of that person's heart
against God intended to pry forth the realization
that that person is the recipient of blessing
and not the giver and source of same?

i'll answer that and say, yes, of course.

it's not like Jacob was perfect in God's
sight and Esau was unretractable damned
in God's sight.

but Jacob had to wrestle with God before he got
a new name and Esau seemed to have to continue
his wrestling with the earth.

that same wrestling match that began with Adam.

and Esau becomes "Edom"

while Jacob becomes "Israel"

and then _they_ come to terms.

just for a moment, now, as an aside remark,

see _them_ a single individual.

you can see them as separate again later.

more after the break.

...Drink Ovalteen...

so, in this tangential aside,
you get the oft mentioned
spirit / nature bits;

as in, you have the natural man wrestling
with nature itself and the spirit man
wresting with God and, the spirit man
wrestling with the natural man.

which pits God in a tussle with nature itself.

seeing that nature itself is God's handiwork,
one can easily see how God has the necessary
accoutrement to be successful in
unity with nature itself.

basically, aside from Union with God,
man is doomed to being overcome
by nature itself.

cannot rely on the mercy of nature,
because nature has no mercy.

can rely on the mercy of God
and must rely on this mercy
to successfully master nature.

nature is not evil nor bad nor dysfunctional,

nature simply has no mercy.

maybe someday we'll venture
to decipher the nature of freedom.

as in, "what is it?"

sure we will.

freedom to toss yourself into the
gaping jaws of sheol with
reckless abandon?

freedom to rise from sheol
and direct its course?

freedom to pursue peace with God
and thereby be granted peace with nature?

riddle me this;

will your resurrection begin while you are yet alive?

or were you really never alive in the first place?

God will not be conforming to the
actions and behaviors of a beast.

don't even entertain that notion
for a fraction of a second.

Jesus is Victorious

just think on this for a moment;

in creating the material universe,

God created a separate thing,
a thing that was -not- God,
a thing that was not even
particularly -like- God.

God has no measure,

the material creation has measure.

at the onset,

God had not, as yet, taken full
habitation within and without of
this new creation which was now,
separate and distinct from God.

and it paled and groaned in comparison.

a beautiful creation to be sure,

but well short of that
immeasurable Glory
which -is- God.

so, God took the beautiful creation
and conformed the beautiful creation
in God's exact likeness and Ultimate Truth.

aside;

apparently, when those immortal created beings,
who covetted God's beautiful creation, were
cast into the material realm, they became
savage and feral,

whereas, Jesus, and -only- Jesus,
saw zero corruption and -was-
and -is- Holy...Holy...Holy.

Jesus who -was- the Creator
cast in the material realm.

now, as a virtue of Firstborn of the Dead,

God has taken the material realm into
God's own fabric and made God's habitation
in and among the beautiful creation,
and will make full transformation
in the twinkling of an eye.

but quite obviously,
Lies will have no place
to reside in among
Ultimate Truth.

Lies will be obliterated,
anihilated and vanquished
utterly.

if you feel a pain of loss when
your lies are cast out, this is
because your world was based upon
a sense of lack which you tried
to mend with your own fabricated
device, a device which falls well
short of the necessary agent of
unifying reconcilliation
which -is- God.

God is well aware that you need God.

-you- are, in a very real sense,
microcosms of the entirety of the
beautiful creation which is being
merged with God.

this is where measure and
immeasure come together

and when you see lack and seek
to fill that lack with measure,
you lie against God.

and God -will- rip you from your
attachments to measure, and set
you down as one running thru fire,

if only to show you that which can not
be fully known nor measured, the full
measure of Deity within the confines
of your unique personality structure.

and any slight discomfort you sense,
which may be a frightful thing to face
from the outside, will not even come to
recollection from within the Unity of God.

but you -will not- carry that sense
of lack with you into the House of God.

that sense of lack you seek
to fill with lies against God.

God is your Providence

there is no subverting nor
confounding this reality.

> if you feel a pain of loss when
> your lies are cast out, this is
> because your world was based upon
> a sense of lack which you tried
> to mend with your own fabricated
> device, a device which falls well
> short of the necessary agent of
> unifying reconcilliation
> which -is- God.

and this is where the christian
amasses a treasure in the Realm of God.

the christian amasses a wealth of
Spiritual characteristics which
cannot be lost to catastrophic
material renovation.

we pare away dead works here and now,
dead works which cannot withstand
anihilation by fire.

certain things which you may
hold dear cannot pass thru a
mile wide wall of blue flame.

but the jewels of God's own knowledge
and understanding see no hurt in
approaching the unapproachable
Light of God's own dwelling.

and so, in passing thru that Blue Sea
which will not be cleft, your True Identity
which is now held safely in Christ will
far surpass the gleaming of a Chrysolite.

-you- _fear_ having your world
torn asunder and your insides
spilled along the concrete,

we have no fear and are not filled
with angziety but with God's own
deep and abiding Presence,

and WE persist.

> -you- are, in a very real sense,
> microcosms of the entirety of the
> beautiful creation which is being
> merged with God.

now, it matters little if knowledge
that the Creator is present is
comforting or disquieting.

the Creator -is- present.

the Ancient of Days

the Being which set off
all Creation is still
just as much Alive now
as was Alive then.

some people might consider
it an awesome thing that it
could even be possible to come
to some knowledgeable agreement
with and of The Creator.

if the Creator came upon you
all at once, God is just so totally
Sacred and Holy that such a meeting
would likely incinerate you.

but even in measure

such interaction will
-have to- have affect
upon -you-.

and this is part of the consideration,

-if- you put forth some effort
of your own so as to rid yourself
of the dead works which vulgarize
your consciousness, God -can-
draw closer and closer still.

it's all very funny,

i mean, God is Sacred
and Holy beyond
imagination,

God will not breathe
the air of death that
permeates your midst.

God is like that company for whom
you'd actually clean up your house
to entertain as a guest,

but that same God is like a train of events

beginning as a small Spiritual butterfly
that flutters into your midst and progressing
to that stature of a Teeming Host of an
Angelic Choir in your midst.

but the progression is incumbent
upon your personal coorperation.

a full blown Christ in your
midst could just rip your
vulgar heart to bits,

and so, measure for measure

the sweetness of God's Presence

takes its toll,

and you'll probably discover that
the laying aside of dead works was
ultimately beneficial and in
no wise sacrificial.

i mean, look, you are inviting this
HOLY Spirit into your circumstance.

don't kill the butterfly

make room for Christ in your midst.

look, God's Holiness and your
vulgar heart are incompatible.

it would not be a matter of some
personal vindictive nature of God
that would result in your being
torn to bits, but just like some
vacuous vortex of Virtue.

but also, do not see the likeness
of a Spiritual butterfly as
overly dainty.

that butterfly has an aura about it that
carries the Presence of God into your midst.

you -can- bottle that up and quench
it and make it of no avail, but more
than likely, in inviting it into your
dwelling space, you'll do whatever you
can to encourage it to roam freely
from room to room.

as the Host arrives on your doorstep
more and more, this Presence cannot
be casually dispelled.

the strengths derived from these is
far and away absolutely more credible
than any sort of bravado man may muster
from the self protective nature
of his vulgar heart.

that's just a dangerous form of fear.

as the Host multiplies in your circumstance

the fragility of fear is overcome
by the steely resolve of confident
assurance in Christ.

fear may -look- dangerous

the Purity of Faith is immovable.

you -want- that butterfly in your midst.

-you- as the Chrysalis of Gidra

The Ancient of Days is an Awesome Host.

50) Jesus said, "If they say to you, 'Where did you come from?',
say to them, 'We came from the light, the place where the light
came into being on its own accord and established [itself] and
became manifest through their image.' If they say to you, 'Is it
you?', say, 'We are its children, we are the elect of the Living
Father.' If they ask you, 'What is the sign of your father in
you?', say to them, 'It is movement and repose.'"

51) His disciples said to Him, "When will the repose of the dead
come about, and when will the new world come?"
He said to them, "What you look forward to has already come,
but you do not recognize it."

“ If he begets a son who is a robber
Or a shedder of blood,
Who does any of these things
And does none of those duties,
But has eaten on the mountains
Or defiled his neighbor’s wife;

If he has oppressed the poor and needy,
Robbed by violence,
Not restored the pledge,
Lifted his eyes to the idols,
Or committed abomination;

If he has exacted usury
Or taken increase—
Shall he then live?
He shall not live!
If he has done any of these abominations,
He shall surely die;
His blood shall be upon him.
