see, and that's what's funny,

-even- -if- the tree of life was
not identified in any manner,

we can see that the tree of knowledge of good and evil
did -not- impart any sort of 'special knowledge' whereby
the man and eve would have been able to recognize,
independantly, the value of the tree of life.

which is to say, all we are told is
that the tree of life was in the garden.

we are not told whether God makes any mention
of that tree to the man and eve, nor anyone else.

so, even if one says that God never
told them the value of the tree of life,

upon eating the tree of the knowledge of good and evil,
they do not get -that- 'special knowldge' of the value
of the tree of life.

-no- 'special knowledge' comes from
the tree of knowledge of good and evil,

but just a somewhat vague and confusing
notion that -God- may be bad.

and as -this- Hope begins to flood over

our conscious awareness, we get our

first taste of "Life" as if from

The Source of All things.

but, what we will begin to come to comprehend

is that -this- "Life" has _no_ 'death' as counterpart.

and so, as i meantioned in another place,
it begins to constitute itself as a radical
re-assessment of "Life" itself.

and this we can seek from no -other-

but only from The Source of The All.

and that Source is Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ -is- the chi and beyond

Jesus Christ -is- the culmination of
the perfectability of the Saints.

in Christ, we are -not- a
'balance' of 'yes and no'

but only Yes.

the contradiction lies in claiming
to seek to free yourself from what
you would also throw yourself over to.

whether 'this is all there is' is true
is irrelevant to whether your statement
represents a contradiction or not.

you would free yourself from cake
and iced cream by eating as much
of it as you can.

"slavery is freedom"

what you really want is to maintain some
sense of personal integrity in a 'civilization'
which imprints its 'own personality' upon you.

where 'its' 'personality' is nothing
but an illusory image of -your- need
to secure food, clothing, shelter
and certain amenities.

-it- is shining an image of _you_ back at you
and you are rejecting -it- because you sense
that there -is-, in fact, something 'more'.

104) They said [to Jesus], "Come, let us pray today and let us
fast."
Jesus said, "What is the sin that I have committed, or
wherein have I been defeated? But when the bridegroom leaves the
bridal chamber, then let them fast and pray."

105) Jesus said, "He who knows the father and the mother will be
called the son of a harlot."

“Yet you say, ‘Why should the son not bear
the guilt of the father?’ Because the son
has done what is lawful and right, and has
kept all My statutes and observed them, he
shall surely live.

The soul who sins shall die. The son shall
not bear the guilt of the father, nor the
father bear the guilt of the son. The righteousness
of the righteous shall be upon himself, and
the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself.

“But if a wicked man turns from all his sins
which he has committed, keeps all My statutes,
and does what is lawful and right, he shall
surely live; he shall not die.

None of the transgressions which he has committed
shall be remembered against him; because of the
righteousness which he has done, he shall live.
Do I have any pleasure at all that the wicked
should die?” says the Lord YHWH, “and not that
he should turn from his ways and live?
