Finally! I've not seen Purefoy in anything so I can't really
comment. He looks alright for the part (even a bit Ogilvy-ish, in
some pics). Also nice to see they'll be filming here in Australia
(whether anything is set in Aus is another matter). I think the Saint
is such a different character to anything else in recent years (no,
the Saint is not James Bond), I fear he's almost anachronistic. But I
guess that's the whole point!

Bit of a shame, though, that they have to shoot it in Europe. Surely
The Saint sums up everything that is good about America - an
anti-authoritarian rebel who is kind and generous to the poor.

I can't imagine Simon Templar being a French surrendur-monkey - or even
worse, British!!!
