For those who are prepared to spend at least six months of the year on
the island, carrying out their work via the Internet, it will be
possible to enjoy free connection to the Internet, along with
exemption from taxes and the chance to have a place to live, at little
or no cost, in the countryside or in a village a few kilometres from
the sea.
Hundreds of companies and individuals in the fields of computers,
journalism, science, research (or any other profession which can be
carried out throught the Internet) have already expressed their
interest, and have decided to come.

P.S. We would like to remind you that major research bodies such as
CRS4, directed by the Nobel Prize winning Carlo Rubbia, (who is also
director of the CERN the place where the Web was born), are already
operating in Sardinia. In Sardinia was also founded Video On Line by
Nicola Grauso.
Grauso is also the creator of a foundation which is in strict
relationship with the most important research centers in technology
and social-politics. In Sardinia were also established the operative
office of the largest italian Internet provider, owned by Telecom
Italia.
