AFTER SHOOTING, CULTURE WARRIORS BLAST SEPARATION, CIVIL LIBERTIES

Following last week's Colorado shootings, do we face an "epidemic" of
violence? Is the entertainment industry "polluting" our culture? Shall we
suspend civil liberties and the separation of church and state? Sunday
morning pundits like Pat Buchanan, Joe Lieberman and other culture war gurus
flirt with abolition of the First Amendment.
