Actor Ho-Ho-Hos From A Christmas Story to Porn
Remember the cute kid who got his tongue stuck on
a frozen flagpole
in the holiday classic A Christmas Story? Well, we
shudder to think
where it's been lately. It seems onetime child
actor Scott Schwartz
has graduated — if that's the word — to a career
in porn.
Between 1982 and 1986 Schwartz did the Hollywood
moppet thing
in four other movies — Richard Pryor bomb The Toy,
and the
little-seen Kidco, Raiders of the Living Dead and
Fear. Ten years
later, through the good graces of longtime porn
personality Ron
Jeremy, Schwartz was baring his shortcomings in
Scotty's X-Rated
Adventure, as, er, revealed in the new issue of
Premiere.
Schwartz says he figures being in a hardcore movie
is like getting
arrested or going into rehab, in terms of
exposure. And hey, if fellow
kid star Corey Feldman could pull his career out
of a drug-fueled
nosedive and into such low-rent efforts as Evil
Obsession and Tales
From the Crypt Presents Bordello of Blood, then by
God, Scotty
Schwartz could, too.
Given the description quoted in the March 1997
issue of e-zine
Former Child Star Palooza — "about
5-foot-6-inches, chubby,
same face [as when he was a child], freckles,
pouffy hair" — he's
probably lucky to have merited a footnote in
Premiere's lengthy look
at the adult-movie industry.
Schwartz's most recent project involved directing
an on-the-fly porn
picture shot backstage at the International
Consumer Electronics
Show, which is held in Las Vegas at the same time
as the Adult
Video News Awards. Well, it beats Gary Coleman's
security-guard
gig.
