Lachlan Murdoch is not exactly a household name in afti, but after
Sunday's performance and ratings success, he might get into some
conversations. He leads the way in the brutal Sunday night battle of
the young performers, which also saw good results for Colton James in
the X-Files and the Malcolm gang. Not so many people saw Martin
Spanjers wheeling briefly through Grosse Pointe, keeping up the WB
Sunday night tradition of not being watched. More strong numbers for
7th Heaven, showing that David Gallagher can draw a large audience
even after the troubled departure of Simon Camden's oldest sister from
the series.

It's probably easy to guess that Fox is not happy with Normal, Ohio's
numbers. They've continued to drift downward since the show started
out a few weeks ago. Cody Kasch fans, keep taping while you can.

Here are the Nielsen TV ratings for the week of November 27-December
3, for shows of interest to afti:

23. CBS Sunday Movie: "Papa's Angels," CBS, 9.6 with Lachlan Murdoch
36. Malcolm in the Middle, Fox, 8.4
41. The X-Files, Fox, 8.2 with Colton James
45. Boston Public, Fox, 7.8
50. The Geena Davis Show, ABC, 7.4

74. 3rd Rock from the Sun, NBC, 5.5
74. City Of Angels, CBS, 5.5 with Kenny Blank
80. NBC Saturday Night Movies: "The Arrival," NBC, 5.1 with Tony T.

<JUMPING FOR JOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!>

Although I can't imagine missing his name when reviewing TV Guide, I
VERY MUCH appreciate the advance word on it! I read your post, and
then RAN to my copy of next week's TV Guide and madly circled Sunday's
TBAA with LOTS of red ink and a Taac (Tape At All Costs) notation at
the top!

THANK YOU Marcus!

You misread what I wrote, and I might not have written it as clearly
as I could have.

I haven't yet gone through next week's (Sat. 12/9 - Fri. 12/15) TV
Guide, except for about half of Saturday. What I was saying is that,
when I do go through it, I can't imagine that I would miss seeing
Martin's name with the TBAA listing, since his name IS mentioned IN
the TV Guide. But since I hadn't yet gotten to Sunday, I hadn't seen
Martin's name yet.
